| I would like to take this time to shed some light on an everyday product that not many people expect to be reviewed. I think I should give the "little product" a voice here. I think this may be a twice a week thing. Today, we go for...
The Toothpick.
We all have encountered this useful little tool, be it in a resturaunt or in a box of 500 for $1.25. But does it really do a good job at what it is made for? Toothpicks are made for getting gunk out of your teeth - sure there have been many attempts to glam it up, such as colored plastic wrapping or disguising it in the form of a tiny umberella, but it's purpose has remained the same, and it has been a steady moneymaker in the sales world for quite a while. Thing is, there was no solid inventor for this genius product, as pointy things were always used to remove things from teeth. But how does this pointy stick stack up in today's society?
Some people would use it as a fashion accessory, letting it hang one side out of their mouth. Others buy the cinnamin flavored varitey. I will review it as what it was intended to be used for.
The toothpick has only one competitor - Dental Floss. And though dental floss certainly has its uses, I wouldn't think it is as cheap or convient as the toothpick. Not many things can hope to replace this wonderful instrument, and for me, the toothpick will always be what I use to pick lodged food items out of my teeth.
On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being very useful and satisfying, 1 being the exact opposite, I give the toothpick a 9.5.
Look for more in depth reviews of overlooked products!

| HAHAHAHAH! I so rarely use toothpicks. And I don't understand how some people suck on them all day every day. I'd stab my tongue.
Haha but you made me laugh Gardner! |
