| Okay so I have this little dragon on my ankle that I've been meaning to get covered up for years. Its just all black but it was done really badly so it looks really faded and patchy as opposed to dark black. So....anyway I have a few questions... 1. Does anyone know what is and isn't possible for a coverup? I want butterflies, probably one covering the original tattoo, then a smaller one on my foot and another higher up on my ankle. 2. Does anyone know where I could find good pictures. I saw one that I really liked and it had butterflies with a shadow under them so it looked very realistic, but anyway I don't know where I saw it. Thanks, all | |

| Talk to an artist about whether or not what you find can cover the dragon up. They'll have to see what you've got, and judge from there. | |

| it's quite difficult to cover black with anything other than black..but if its faded enough you might get away with a darkish colour..but yeh, what lisabeth said, find yourself a talented artist and they can design something custom to your needs. | |

| going over black is difficult. it depends on the size and how dark it is, really. like others said..talk to your tattoo artist about what he/she can do to cover it up! good luck! |
