His Dark Materials

I recently started re-reading this series, and I wonder if any of you read them/ what your opinions are. Personally I think the books are brilliant, but the I couldn't even sit through the whole movie of The Golden Compass.

I only read the Golden Compass, and i loved it! Sadly I never got around to reading the other two, even though I own them. Maybe when I have time I'll reread them cause you just reminded me... And fuck that movie. Never saw it, but the trailer was all I needed haha
