| alright. i've had dark circles under my eyes since i was born.. not the barely visible ones. serious dark circles.
the only thing i've heard about to fix this is hylexin. but, that's way too expensive. do you know any tips with makeup to fix this? or maybe some other kind a product that could help?
i use concealer and foundation over it, but it doesn't take them completely away, and you can really tell i'm wearing makeup.

| I think you should go to your drugstore and look for a fading cream - they also have moisturizers with fading power in it, so maybe that would help, too. I believe there's something in most drugstores made to fade dark circles - hell, we have a topic on it somewhere...! :]
and then in the meantime, try to find a new concealer. is a liquid? thats best. you only need a dot of foundation on your nose, cheeks, forhead, chin, and jawline. add a dot right on each of your dark circles, blend with your ring finger, and then about three dots of concealer blended in over that. set it with translucent or pressed powder applied with a fluffy brush, and maybe your makeup wont look too heavy! :]

| I have really bad circles too and the only way I can cover mine is if I put a yellow concealer on first, then set it with my mineral foundation, then put a regular concealer on over it | |

| i've got nasty dark circles and I'm really liking the Bobbi Brown Corrector.
depending if you're circles are warm or cool based the MA's will rec a shade to counteract and it totally brightens them up! You need like the teeeeniest bit and you just build up thin layers and then apply your regular concealer on top that matches yo skin.
if you've had them since you were born, chances are they're hereditory and it's unlikely you'll actually be able to get rid of them.
welcome to the forum btw!

xoxo Ahhh I am EXACTLY the same! I wear concealer and it helps them a tad so I don't look so much like I've been punched in both eyes, but there's no way those babies are ever gonna be completely covered. Bio oil, eh Hana? Hmmmmmmmmm... |

| I hav that problm too. They make me so self concious. If a plastic surgery to remove the exists maybe one day I'll get it. What is kinda working for me right now is concealer (liquid kind) with that dream mousse foundation over it. | |

| I use bio oil, and though I don't have circles, I don't see how it would work. It claims to fade SCARS, which is why i bought it, but it doesn't really seem to...great for all over skin tone though. | |

| Does it make your skin really greasy?? Cos I'm worried that if I got bio oil it would fuck up my skin and I'd break out heaps. |

| Well I use it on a masseve scar I have on my upper thigh (like thing from where toyr panties are on the side right until halfway down your thigh) and it's working wonders. I mean, it's slow, but you can't expect a miricle cure huh!? hee hee
However it claims that it does imprive the colour of your skin and skin tone so i don't see why dark eye circles would be much different to, say, a birthmark.

People! It can cover bruises! Must work on circles. I'm definitely gunna look into that, my circles are sometimes bruisey coloured when they have purple in them. Most of the time they're sorta reddish.
