| I love pale skin. Whenever I see a healthy pale, black haired person, they have the prettiest color in the world. My question is, how can I get a healthy pale color? My color right now is pale, but with a greenish/yellowish undertone (because of natual olive skin). To me, it just looks unhealthy! Help? |

| L'oreal True Match Neutral Soft Ivory or Classic Ivory
or If you want a lil' better Lancome is owned by the same company as L'oreal and has the same product range
I'm not saying this is your perfect foundation, some people love it, others don't...but this is what I use and I've never had a comment about looking unhealthily(word?) pale also a very neutral toned blush that compliments your skin tone, not a bronzer because it may look too harsh |

| I hate using liquid foundation, so that might be out for me. I can never put it on right and even when others put it on me, it looks cakey. And I rather stay away from blush. I just want to makemy skin more of a white color instead of the yellow it is now. |

| Well, would you be up to trying a powder? I think just about any powder would do, just try the lightest shade. It would make your skin a little lighter looking without caking. That's all I can think of, sorry. |

| mhm...why not try embracing the undertones in your skin? do you have makeup that works with your skin? maybe look for shades that work - to get a pale look with olive undertones may make you look washed out. | |

| I've tried looking for aple makeup with green undertones in it, but that'sreally hard to find! Until I was about 12 I had really natural dark, olive skin. Then I was sunburned for the first time in my life and it took a bunch of the tan pigment out of my skin. Now I'm stuck with olive pale skin, which is really rare.

| Cinema Secrets....that stuff can make you paler without looking like death or like a ghost. If you are pretty pale already, you might be able to just get whatever is at your party city.
I know...foundation from party city? Trust me. It is seriously the best stuff I have ever used ever. Im even considering doing a product review on how great the coverage with photographical evidence. The texture is somewhere between a powder and a liquid, and it doesn't go on too heavy either.
If you want more choices of shades though..

I bought mine from there and had no problem matching it with my skin.

I have olive pale skin, too, actually - and I just embrace the sickliness. Although you COULD mix a green concealer (such as the ones PolyphonicThought posted in another thread...Smashbox, I think, I'm clueless...) with a tinted moisturizer.

| I love the idea of buying foundation from Party City!!! I have bought tons of eyeliner from there! And Karin, I started laughing when I read "I enbrace the sickliness" Partly, because at school I'm constantly asked if I'm feeling ok and a bunch of people asked me that yesterday!
I really want a primer, but I need an inexpensive one! |

| Don't forget to? I work a few stores down from a Party City and I'm sick of hunting for foundation that's pale enough. | |

| YAY!
oh, and another suggestion for teh Kelley!
try cream blush with the Cinema Secrets foundation - I know the CS stuff works with how Mandy raves, I may even try it myself! - for a healthy glow.
cream blush and a pressed powder blush makes all the difference in the world. I like mixing some of my powder blush with a moisturizer so I look extra radiant. :]

| Oh my goodness. Sorry @ typo. "enbrace" = "embrace." Good luck with that - I'd say the Cinema Secrets foundation is worth looking into, actually. O_o; |

| almay has a blush with a touch pad for a decent price. then maybelline's dream matte mousse. physician's forumula has one Ive been eyeing in rose that would look lovely on you, and trublend has a mineral blush in romance something you could use dry or with a little moistuizer. :] | |

| The only thing I fear is that the Dream Matte Mouse will look cakey, because this girl used to use it in my gym class and it was cakey and horrible! |

| a very very little goes a very long way, if you use just the right amount it looks great but since it is a cream if you use too much it will get really cakey, it also doesn't help if the person using it has really oily skin, it would look great when I first put it on but after a few hours it would start to get greasy looking...but I have a friend with fairly normal skin and an olive complaction who loved it!!! it lasts forever if you use it right |

| Dream matte mousse looks great if you apply it seriously sparingly...
But DAMN that stuff blocks up your pores like shit in about 30 seconds. I had suuuuuuch bad blackheads only like a week after I started using it.
