Patterns are gonna make me give up sewing forever!

Most matterns are made for girls with B cup boobies which sucks for me because I wear a 36D.

I cut out the pattern correctly, sew it together just like the directions say, but since my boobs are bigger than what the patterns is made for, it always comes out looking weird!

Does anyone know how I can adjust a pattern for a larger chest??

I thought my book had something about it, but all it has is adjusting for other problems. meh. Try the library, they usually have books on sewing, and see if there are chapters about pattern adjustment.

oo, I know how you feel, since Im a 38 D. never can find things to fit across these things. >.<

I would suggest making it whatever size will fit your bust, then trying it on and taking it in.

I agree with pinkhaired, I think it'd be simpler to use the correct bust size and adjust the garment rather than adjusting the pattern.

Although you might still want to figure out how to adjust it cus the method should work across (ahh how do you spell across I've forgotten!) most patterns..

OOh! Lol I was confused cus first I put accross and then I changed it to across and it still looked weird!

I do cut the right bust size.

I cut everything according to my measurements but the bodices tend to be like 3 inches shorter than they're supposed to be!

Then I end up getting that oh so flattering pregnant look. -_-'

Wow that's weird! I don't understand how it can end up too short when using the right measurements.. you should ask at craftster, they know way more than us about patterns. Heck, someones probably asked already!
