sewing machine?

i can't get the bobbin thread to come up.

i think i loaded it right? (front load)
but everytime i lower the needle with the handwheel the thread goes in but when i try to pull the thread to get the bobbin loop to come up, the thread is just stuck down there.

When you lower and raise the needle, the bobbin thread won't come up all the way; it should just sort of get looped over your needle's thread. Get a ruler or a slim pair of (closed!) scissors and run them under the presser foot, and it'll pull the bobbin thread up for you.
