earrings - stupid questions

yknow how sometimes with hook earrings, they can be really heavy and weigh/stretch your lobes down?

i have a gorgeous pair of earrings but they do this
and i cant return them
and they were kind of expensive
and i dont know what to do!

does anyone have any suggestions?!

i really love these earrings and have been thinking about them for ages....

they've got some charms on them like beads and stuff but they just wouldnt look right if i took some of the charms off...

uhm... maybe don't wear them for a long period of time? or maybe you could rig a device with a tiny thread that loops around the bottom and ties to another earring or the upper part of your ear? it might take some of the weight off. thats a dumb idea... but all i can think of lol

well i couldnt even wear them once I put them in...so wearing them at all was out of the question.

anyway i spoke to my mum about it and she phoned up customer services and said how they were hurting me and pulling my ear quite badly and they gave her a code to quote in the shop and they took them back no problem.

its a shame. they were really pretty but totally unwearable.
i sat and undid some of the charms - just loosening the jump rings which held them on. i took off the ones i thought would be the heaviest and slipped them on a normal hoop earring and BOTH of these were still unwearable.
