| Got a quick fashion question that you feel doesn't need its own topic?
How best to wash that sequin top? Which colour shoes will/won't go with that new dress?
If it's a quick, simple question that you don't want to waste a whole new topic on because you only need a couple of replies, then post it in here.
Hopefully this'll work!
If the post you're replying to is a few back, don't forget to quote it to make reading easy!
------------------------
I'll start us off! I have gotten a bit of an obsession with navy blue recently and I don't know what shoes to wear with it! Occasionally I'll wear a black cardi over the top so I can wear my black boots but if I can't/don't want to wear a cardi...what colour shoes would go best? eeep! | |

| What about cream or white? Even brown boots or something. Or even some crazy bright colour like yellow could look cool. | |

| I have bright blue shoes...like converse but I don't like em all that much. I have silver ballet flats which are cute but it's a bit cold still. All my shoes are pretty much...black...my pale uggs...green or grey...leopard print...pink. If I was wearing black tights...would black shoes be ok? I would think so...but hey it could be one of these rules I usually dont care about | |

| Ooh silver/gold, forgot about those. Black shoes would totally work with tights I think. And grey too. Hell, I would probably wear the leopard ones too... | |

| with navy...brown, black, grey [you and I are huge grey fans], khaki/tan, red; even pink. like Jess said, even yellow. experiment. I find that bright colours look really cool against navy, and when you want to go for that lax, plain look, you can use a regular colour. its all about preference. | |

| ME AGAIN!
2 things:
1. High Waisted Jeans. I'm sure I've asked this before but what to wear with them? I haven't decided if just plain tops (like i have a red/navy thin stripe one i love) or graphicy tees (so long as graphic isnt cut off methinks) work ok? I haven't decided how I wanna wear them...any suggestions?
2. I kind of want a pencil skirt...while I would do the kind of secretary, frilly blouse thing, but is there a good way to wear it casual? With like...a tee shirt or something? IDEAS?! Also, I dont do heels...would it look odd with flats? I've always seen/imagine them with heels?
I need a pretty outfit for a friends 21st and if i cant find a dress, I'm thinking a nice top and skirt would be cute and I could re-wear it...I'm gonna go have a looksee on stylemob. | |

| hmm
if the pencil skirt was fairly short you could probably funk it up a ton !
especially if you wore like, aleather jacket with it, or a few layered tank tops and chunky belts or something?
i dunno, maybe my imaginations on crack. |

| as of the high waisted pants - try them with a tucked in, billowy, fluffy shirt and a cardigan. you could also try a fitted tee or something of the sort.
as of the pencil skirt, you CAN wear them with flats. I prefer high top converse [I have long legs, so high tops work; when you have short legs, go for sneaks WITHOUT le' hightop]. try a tucked in tee or wifebeater layered with a short sleeve or 3/4 sleeve cardigan. | |

| With my pencil skirts, I tend to wear casual shirts like that black and white striped one I posted ages ago somewhere in this forum. Also, I have a couple of long sleeved tops with, like, floaty sleeves and they look really good with it. I think bell sleeve is the word I'm looking for. Any kind of fitted tee shirt would look good. Anything baggy looks a bit off, in my opinion.
Also, if you have a nice shrug to go with any t-shirt your wearing, that always makes it look really cute.
I'm pretty terrible with heels, so I just wear mine with flats, and it still looks really good. | |

| For pencil skirts I like plain tees with a nice necklace (a biggish one) Kinda like in the one snowy posted but I know you don't like scarves very much so a necklace would combat that. | |

| How do you work clothes in winter? I hate wearing the same bunch of jeans, and sweaters over and over again in winter. It gets boring, and annoying! Plus, is it possible to wear dresses, heels/flats without freezing to heck in winter? |

| I wear dresses alot during winter, just with big wooly tights, or several pairs of thin tights..I tend to wear heels though cause if I wear flats, my feet always get wet.. | |

| I've barely worn jeans all winter...I live in skirts like my demin one because my thick ribbed wooly tights are a lot warmer than jeans. I've also worn my summery dresses with a thick cardi over the top or a long sleeved top underneath. And I've worn flats a few times. I dont tend to wear heels but I presume if you're wearing tights then it's pretty much the same situation. | |

| Problem is i don't own any thick-wooly tights. For some reason, nobody here sells them! And it's still freezing cold here! So, i'm a bit desperate. Especially when it's party day or at school (dress code, yay.) |

| There are usually knit tights (which are amazing) on sale at the very beginning of winter (like in november) that you could try to get your hands on. It's like wearing sweaters for your legs |

| Thank you guys so much! Once winter rolls around again, i'm going to stock up on all the thick wolly tights i can! :-)
Until then, i guess i'm stuck with jeans. But, oh well! I'm just going to start looking all over the forum for inspiration. This forum is jam packed w/ awesome people and style. :-) |

| (not sure if my question fits in here buuuuttt......)
does anyone know where i can find a cute leather jacket? i've looked a few places and they're pretty expensive. i don't really want to spend more than $500 (actually, i'd rather spend less if its possible to get good quality) online stores or any store (that i'd find in NYC) |

| *bump*
hey ladies, iv got a couple of pairs of black jeans and they've started to fade quite a bit, its annoying. Does anyone have any handy hints on how i can fix them? I dont think theres anything i can really do except maybe buy some black dye and just dye them again. Anyway i just thought i might as well ask on here first. I read a tip that if you washed them in the washer but didnt put any washing power in, it'd bring them back up to looking new again, but iv tried it and it didnt work, D'oh! | |

| after a while, pants just begin to fade. I think dye could work, if you did it well. | |
