| ok im bringing this back up...im still looking to knit something like this.
look what i just found! http://slippedstitch.blogspot.com/2005/12/my-crayon-scarf.html i dont quite know how to change colour in the middle of a row like that...but im sure i could figure it out.
do you think the same sort of thing would work for the paint brush? im not good at making up my own patterns.
im searching craftster, where i didnt think to check before but im still on the look out for flat cupcakes and stuff.

| God, I still have to send you that loom. Sorry, Keeks! I've got it packaged up and everything, but money got tight right when I intended to send it. I'll get mom to loan me postage this weekend.
As for the color change in the middle of the row, I can't imagine it would be much different than changing colors at the start of a row. You'd just have to keep count of your stitches, I think.

| Crochet is kind of fun. Basically a lot of slip-knots joined together.
Saw your Twitter, congratulations on finishing the hat!

| i was just about to post pictures! ah i redid my twitter and forgot to refollow you. i will fix that now. i took photos. i KNOW. it's too short. it's the yarn i used. it used this..rowan big wool which is about £9 (so like $14) for a ball which i cannot afford, especially as i mess up a lot. so i bought this other stuff which is the same gauge but its "super softie" and its kind of soft and didnt quite work out. IF ANYONE KNOWS CHEAP PLACES TO BUY ROWAN YARNS OR A WAY TO FIND SIMILAR ONES PLEASE TELL ME! im thinking im going to try it again because it didnt take me long but maybe do more rows of the ribbing (which is that weird frill at the bottom, its my first rib knitting so it sucks and came out weird) and then do more rows of straight stocking stitch before i start decreasing. | |
