| do you guys ever wear coloured tights?
i own some bright pink and bright blue ones which i think are a bit ridiculous.
i own some mustard ones, some dark bottle green ones and just bought red/teal/purple ones.
i'm of course going to play with some outfits but i thought i'd post and ask here!
what should i wear with them?! what do you wear with them? by the colours i've posted, what other colours could i try wearing with them that aren't black/white/grey?

| I love super bright tights!
I find they look best with a simple black mini dress and mary janes.
That's how I always wear them and they don't look to gaudy or garish in my opinion. |

| i actually just got mustard yellow ones and dark teal ones, and i've been wearing them with my plain, turtleneck, black dress. it looks really cute. and then i've been wearing them with my offwhite leather boots. and then a matching offwhite necklace. i love the look of it.
you can also wear them with plain shorts, but that's even a bit harder to pull off. play around and see what looks good... just make sure you wear the bright tights with nothing else TOO bright or busy. it'll clash bunches!

| I'd wear them with a simple shirt dress in basic colours or something with a neat print on it. I would love some forest green tights and navy blue [I'm so dull, hahahaha]. I'd wear them with long boots too [remember those long blowfish sneaks I posted?]. bitchin! | |

| Ooh Puff that'd be HOT.
I forgot about plain, simple shirt dresses. Those would look hot with some tights.

| whats the opinion with a denim skirt? i have this habit of thinking "well you'd wear ANY coloured tshirt with jeans...so why not the skirt?!" and thinking of it like black or something you'd wear whatever with... i have a cute black skirt similar to that AA one with the pockets everyone seems to love? maybe? i dont really have a basic dress in black that i love. i have a shirt dress but i feel weird wearing it. something about it doesnt quite sit right with me. i DO have this navy dress with a star print in white; this one. im thinking with the red tights? i wear it with a red cardi and shoes so changing to red tights could be cute. i dont just wanna do boring stuff also maybe with this skirt i posted? it's a greyish brown colour so maybe wouldn't look to bad to add the colour into my tights rather than with the t-shirt? im hitting up stylemob, i'll brb! | |

| Tights with denim would work well. As long as the top works with the denim AND the color of the tights. Also, the red tights with that star dress would be adorable. And white flats, if you have some? Also, that last high-waisted skirt would be adorable with the mustard tights, I think. Try it? | |

| Usually when I wear bright tights, the rest of my outfit has to match, or be in black and white. Like, I've worn my bright blue tights with a black and white polka dotted dress with my yellow boots, and maybe a black sweater with a yellow accessory to tie in with the boots. Or, I've worn them with a denim skirt, converses and a t-shirt that has the same blue. Idk, I'm not exactly a style icon, so... hah I just wear whatever. | |

| yeh if i wore them with the denim skirt, i'd most likely wear them with a plain black or white tshirt/vest, cardi and white plimsols or something. or if i had a tshirt that had a similar colour in it, i'd try that. i'm really tempted to try the whole...clashing thing red tights + bright yellow shoes?! or even better, green shoes?! mustard. i lurve this! & this. too cute. red + navy = lurve. blue tights. her tights are purple love the red with the yellow colour i think i have nice darkish blue tights that i'd be tempted to retry. would i be brave enough for my yellow shoes too? teehee. i weirdly love the idea of bright shoes with the tights but idk if i'd be brave enough to do it. i do have red, yellow & green shoes (all previously posted on here) i'd willing try them with i might go look for a cheap simple black dress tomorrow. or retry on the ones i've got because im not sure how they fit. | |

| i LOVE all those pictures, especially the girl wearing red tights, an oversized mustard cardi and the panda shirt. SO CUTE. All those looks are so awesome and so easy to pull off, i think you should play around with what you've got. i'm suuure you can copy a lot of that. I also second the navy & red combo and how AMAZING it is. I love wearing navy, red, and gold together. I also love wearing my gold jazz flat/sneaker things with tights. It's crazy, but so cute. | |

| it refers to the density of the weave in the fabric. (lol wiki) so the higher the denier the thicker the tights. so basically how opaque they are.
40 den are more see through than 80.

| oh ive got leopard print ones but i put them on one night when it was coldish on holiday (plus theyre not exactly thick) and my dad was like O.o and my uncle is a bit of a pig at times and would have made fun of me so i didnt wear them i think you just have to be brave enough to rock them. i saw a girl i know wearing them with these khaki green shoes (which i own too) a denim skirt, a green tshirt and a grey cardi. they looked really cute but idk if i'd be comfy in it. | |

| Yeah, I dont know If I could wear like the proper leopard print ones, but the grey ones are a bit more understated if you know what I mean, plus when I wore them these boys in year 8 or something went "Look at that girls tights" "They look SIIIICK!" "I LOVE YOUR TIGHTS!!" hahaha |

| i wore some last night! my teal ones match this check/plaid shirt i have; it's blue and green and the shades matched the teal colour nicely. i wore the shirt, a white vest underneath, my denim skirt, the tights and white plimsole shoes. i thought it looked cute! | |
