| OK! I officially want to wear this stuff. I got given the Deluxe Shadow Box which has nine different shadows in it and a little thing of primer. It's this: It has- fishnet - light purple honey - gold ransom - dark purple graffiti - green zero - black peace - turquoise shag - bronze scratch - champagne underground - fawn and I got the mini travel set of eyeliners: which has: lucky - copper zero - black covet - green electic - aqua lust - purple OK SO! y'all know I'm pish with this sort of thing...so what would be my basics with this stuff? Can I wear just one colour of shadow or is that seen as baaad? Can a bit of black liner be worn with the shadow? What about with the coloured liners? I'm going out to the pantomime tomorrow with my parents and I'd like to look...stunning. I'll probably be wearing a black and grey dress or a black and grey top...which colour should I go for with this? Any...steps for putting it on? I'm a complete bum but your my forum-makeup-bitches so teach me | |

| sorry i can't answer any of your questions, but i was at the mall with my friend a couple months ago. we went into sephora and they have testers on everything, so i did her makeup with urban decay and it wore off in about two hours.
so i'm not sure if it happens to everybody, but i don't trust their eyeshadows. |

| AH! I WANT THOSE LINERS ;-;
you can wear just one colour! I do it all the time. pairing it with black liner is always classic.
if you want to try something fun, use a coloured pencil all over your lid, and put a matching/similar shade over it.
then blend out any harsh lines with shag or scratch.
and as of which colours to wear for pantomime...ransom, with lust as a base, with your entire eye lined with zero. :]

| Maybe do blue and fawn, with black liner, and underline your eyes with the blue? I suck at explaining, I'm sure PuffPuff can do a far better job....LOL. | |

| With a black and grey dress, I would personally play it safe and just do a hot natural eye, using the 4 natural shades in that deluxe shadow box... and then maybe some of the copper eye liner on the top and some brown eyeliner in your bottom waterline, if you have some... OR if you want to play it up... You could do a super sexy like, purple on the top (using fishnet and ransom on the outer edge, fading..) and maybe a little light purple/white-ish if you have some, near your inner eye, to highlight.. and then take and angled brush or something to use the honey shadow along your bottom lashes? and then some brown or black liner along your bottom waterline...? All with tons and tons of schmexy mascara, of course! | |

| hehe thank you ladies :] treat me like im a lil slow...seriously not kidding. i put on the bright blue liner on one eye and it needs something with it if i wore it...it looks too bare. maybe i need to put it all over or pair it with shadow? i think ill try what you suggested in the morning puff. see what it looks like but that sounds quite easy. would liquid black be too harsh? should i stick with the UD liner? ANY ADVICE IS AWESOME! and i take it i should be using a little of the primer oui? | |

| haha, just a little primer, pencil all over the lid, smooth it out with your finger to soften it and warm it up, then add some shadow over it.
and liquid wouldn't look harsh at all! that would make it look classier and more put together.
and the primer keeps it lasting longer. I havent had the honour of trying UDPP, so you're very lucky!

She LOVES it, and swears by it. I soooo need some (but it's so expensive, and the closest place that sells it is in Mississauga).

| it looks a little neater when its on your waterline, but I did a little powder under my eyes today with my eyeliner brush and it still looked nice and it may be a lil bottle, but you still have some! num! n.n | |

| It's okay to put it along the lash line, as long as it's super close...
But i prefer the water line just cause it's easier and lasts longer for me...

| Aw, hmm. For me it'll last almost all day! If it's along my bottom lash line, it just smudges and dissppears. | |

| For me, stuff that's on my lower lasline stays longer but it ALWAYS smudges, where on my waterline it'll last for usually 3-6 hours before it rubs off.
Also, UGH KIKI YOU'RE SO LUCKYYY. Urban Decay isn't even sold here. Lame.

| I never put black liner on my waterline coz it makes me look squinty and gross. But lately I have taken to putting white on my waterline and i LOVE it. It's awesome. Rimmel's soft khol or whatever is great. It really opens the eyes. | |

| Sorry if I repeat what's been said..
When you've found one basic look you like, remember you can always switch up the colours. This is good for when you're lacking on inspiration (or time!) but you want something different.
Also in my experience, the deluxe shadows texture can be a bit odd so definitely use the primer. It could just be me but a girl on Youtube had the same thoughts on it.
Also just an extra note I store mine outside of my regular make up case because stuff in there gets bashed around quite a bit and UD shadows don't have much binding stuff in them which means it can get damaged easily. When I opened it it had already sorta split into two layers.. I've managed to pat them back together again with a brush though.
