Oh, i just got this mad book by Kevin Aucoin and it has inspired me to expand my makeup knowledge, so I'm looking for some more 'out there' products so that I can give some of his more complicated and exciting looks a try.

bahahaha, you could get black eyeshadow and mix it with super pale foundation or moisturizer or something of the sort....hm. wouldn't that be grand...? worth a try - worst that could happen is a hell of a lot of acne

But either way, they jack up the prices MAJORLY for makeup brands like that in Australia. It's not even about the exchange rate. It's about them being assholes.

australian dollar is 90 US cents at the moment but makeup brands enjoy raising their prices for us

Oh. And Hot Topic has a pure white setting powder that I use as a foundation when I can be bothered to do my makeup, it's the only thing pale enough that I've found. Mayhap if you packed it on, it'd be heavier, thus ensuring pure whiteness?
