| For Christmas I'm gonna get a book for my sister (as well as this cool lighter that I bought for her yesterday... even though she doesn't smoke... she just collects them).
So anyway. She tends to read sorta fantasy-ish books, I think? And more of the teenage sorta books.
So have you guys got any recommendations? I really wanna get her a KNOCKOUT book. |

| Terry Pratchett and Jasper Fforde are two of my favourite writers..I think they're fantasy..
Or if she's into science fiction, does she have Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy? Everyone should own that..

| How old is she? I wouldn't drop her in the deep end with Marion Zimmer Bradley if she was under like... 15 or 14.
If you mean your really little sister, I would saaaay Tamora Pierce if she's not a really big book reader, or Raymond E Feist (Magician would be the best place to start) or Terry Brooks (skip Sword of Shannara as it's not that great, start with Elfstones) if she is.

| Baha, sweet, thought you might have meant the little one. Marion Zimmer Bradley is awesome, but her books are quite 'heavy'. | |
