what about pinkinsh orange, reddish orange and yellowish orange and purple/blue for the fins...with hints of the silver

it also depens on how you're doing the flowers and the color of the shirt

Cuuute. You should color the scales and leave the rest black and white. Well, its what I would do, maybe your plan is better.

1. weee the rainbow fish! it like gave away all its scales or something didnt it? my aunt used to have series photos in her bathroom of it.

2. i agree with not using the lotus flowers.

3. i like the metalic...like mainly a reddy-orange with little bits of silver.

this reminds me of a wallpaper i think i have somewhere...the fish was the same kind and it was white with orange bits (like the fish can be really) which is cool.
and its on a blue background, which is what i see this on...because its a fish...and any other colour would look a bit silly to me.
the wallpaper has flowers but they are drawn onto the "water" and arent like flowers...so they are darker blue but i could see these ones in pale pinks and stuff.
