Septum/Nose

Kay so we all know I had my lip done and I wanted my nose done but my boyfriend doesnt like piercings so didnt want me to get it...I think I'd look quite cute with a tiny little nose stud!
But yeh he isn't a big fan of piercings...I wanna get a couple more on my ear maybe...because they wont fuck up my face like the lil bits I have from my lip (which are getting better yey!)

but yeh...would I suit a lil nostril piercing? I have quite a small nose so...

And yeh, I have a thing for septum piercings and its so unlikely because of Sam having a thing against piercings but would I suit one? How much did it jurt courtney?

I dunno...I'm kinda in two minds because I do love piercings and want them...but I like having a purdy metal free face...which septum would change but i think a cute tiny little nose stud would be ok...

I think septum piercings look great on anyone! It's just about the jewlery you put in it.


Mine didn't hurt, really. You could definitely feel it, but I wouldn't call it pain.

The only thing that hurt was putting the jewlery in, and getting it done professionally, I hear/read that the clamps hurt the most.


I think the septum would be the way to go, because you can easily flip it up if certain people don't want to see it!




alsooo, if you DO want to go for the nostril, I think that'd look good, too.

I'd definately have a really tiny ring in it. And yeh the flipping up thing would be totally true.

I have a really small nose...if I could take a decent pic I'd post it but it's quite small and then like turny-uppy so I'd need small jewellery...I'll maybe "suggest" it to sammy...

oh and the only sore bit about my lips was the jewellery going in rather than the needle so i totally get what you mean.

meh..screw sam and get what you want..its your body..I had an ex who hated piercings and i was just like "you know what, my body is gonna be with me a hell of alot longer than you will no doubt, so i'll do what i like to it..and if you don't like it, you can away screw a dull piercingless chick" and he laughed and bought several of my piercings for me, cause he saw they made me happy..and eventually i convinced him to get a lobe pierced..he now has 3 lobe piercings (one is stretched to 6mm) and a conch!

I know thats true...but it's like...he stopped kissing me for a bit when i had my lip because he really didnt like me with it...it was more of a, he didnt fancy me than he didnt like me because of it. you know?

Strange...I think lip piercings are hot...

HOWEVER a cute little nose stud would be soooooo cute on you. And that probably wouldn't worry Sam too much either cos it's just tiny and on the side of your nose..... so ya

Does he have a good reason for not liking them, or is he just, 'meh, I don't like it!' You could always take the advice given to girls who have parents who wouldn't want it done: give a convincing argument, decide which you'd get and go from there. Because then, like Gill's ex, he should see that it'll make you happy and shouldn't fuss himself about a tiny little nose stud. Them there's just my two cents.

I DON'T think septums look good on anyone. They're just ewwy.
But I agree with Jade in thinking a lil stud would be sooo cute! ^.^

I don't think you should get a septum piercing.

I think septum pierces suit more goth/ scenester/ hard faces (i don't mean hard like convict/builder, i mean like harsher features)

My boyfriend loves piercings. He has also told me he things "scene" girls are really hot. Hes trying 2 convince me 2 get my lip pierced again and the other day when i was buyin hair he he was all like. "Wow the black one would look really nice with a big choppy fringe" Hahaha.

i also think that for a septum you need a more unnatural look i.e. heavy makeup etc...

idk i don't think it'd suit you because you have a very girly and natural face ( a very pretty face ideed )

but i think that's the kind of face a nostril would look cute in.
So def get it, no matter what your bf says, its tiny and he survived your lip, so i think a tiny nose stud shouldn't bother him that much.

kinda OT but do the holes you get when you take your piercing out heal complety? i've always wondered if thay ever heal up or if they'll in your face like forever...hmm

My holes have totally closed up but I have like...2 little dimples because I think the skin maybe takes longer to come back? I dont know if thats true...but they closed like, overnight and theres little dimples on the skin side (rather than the squidgey side) which i have noticed have gotten shallower...

I dunno why Sammy doesnt like piercings...he was ok with me getting my lip done at first but then, I dunno...maybe just didnt like how i looked with metal in my face...which is ok...I had doubts as to whether i suited it. But yeh he doesnt mind my huge ugly scaffold bar but thats probably because he cant see it and forgets i have it.

I think the nostril will look good, but I don't really like the little stud. Maybe a hoop would look nice though.

lol that was just like...i think its one of my jewellery making things that broke and it was a half dome thing. id want a lil star stud or something. i dont think id wear a hoop a lot...ill sweeten him up tomorrow.

I think a teeny tiny stud would look cute, as long as it's not as big as the one in the pic. Like a tiny diamond or star or something. I couldn't see a septum on u tho kiki.

rawr i felt all sad and quiet yesterdat (EMO MOMENT!) and we were lying in sammy's bed and he was like "what is it? you're all sad! do you want your nose pierced? would that make you feel better?" and i was like "no thats not it...but yeh! i do" and he was like "well you can if you really want"

yey i might think about doing it now! although i dont think i wanna til after my ball...idk i just see me being all purdy and a nose piercing isnt part of my planned look! maybe when im back from my summer holiday
