LC Mini Package Swap

So there was talk on the forum of a Secret Santa style swap.

To get things going, we could start of with a swap involving a small A5 sized (thats 148x210mm or 5.8x8.3inches) "jiffy bag" or padded envelope.

Would everyone be ok with this?

We could say that you *had* to include a small letter to your swapee and a postcard of where you live.
And then it's up to you!
The envelope won't hold very much so think carefully!
(This also means what you include won't be anything expensive!)

Some ideas of what you could include:
A poem or decorated song lyrics.
A mix tape or CD
A small item of jewellery or hair accessory.
Pins/Badges
Little gumball charms if they suit the person.
A keychain or similar.
A small purse.

Any other suggestions are welcome!
If you make things, you could include something you make, like jewellery or sewing a small coin purse or hair clip. Whatever you like!

I know some of you have already messaged me but to make everything nice, please post here.

If anyone has any queries or problems, ie not wanting to ship to X country due to cost, we can sort that out later. Or if there's anything you don't want, like for religious or other reasons, we can sort that too.

Once everyone has signed up that wants to, I'll sort the names and make a draw. Everyone will be given a name and can SECRETLY prepare their package.
If anyone has any questions about who they have been assigned, they can ask me and I'll pass on the question, eg favourite colour etc.

Any comments on how to work it etc are welcome!

You could just find something from around your house that is cute or something, and those are pretty small envelopes, you could use stamps to send it, I bet.

shes right, it doesnt need to be expensive stuff.
and it would be cheaper to ship within where you live rather than the other side of the world so if you want to stay sending within where you live then we can sort that.

Ohh wait.... would we just be using like.. the regular sized letter envelopes?

thought maybe it would be better to use a set type so that the swap was equal for everyone and small for the first one...if we had more. just to test the waters.
