Harry Potter!

I have been counting the days since like, January. I'm so excited for this final book. I'm totally going to dress up and do the whole cheesey midnight thing at Barnes and Noble's.

Does anyone have speculations as to what may happen?

I dont even want to think about what could happen, as Ive ironically, been a fan since 11, and Im seventeen now!

I know exactly what will happen. We'll get the book in the mail, and then I will proceed to read it before my sister, because if I don't I'll end up waiting a week for her to finish it. Two weeks, if mom gets it first. That's what'll happen.

Ive had it preordered since it first came out on amazon i think...

im peeing myself. for the movie too.

I hope that It takes me more than two days to read it...it depresses me to go through books super fast.

I won't end up reading it for a few months now. I have to re-read 5 and 6 first, and then I have to wait for my entire family to read number 7 before I get it.

I preordered mine ages ago, and I'm dressing up to borders too! Most of my guy friends refuse to go with me; the guy who was the most disgusted has to work at borders that night! HA!

But I have no idea what happens, because it's hard to make the ending good. If harry dies, everyone will be upset and depressed. If he lives happily ever after, people will be unhappy because that's so cheesy and not realistic (unlike the rest of the book, of course). I bet that Ron dies though, or Ginny.

I hope that Ron doesn't die. He's my boyfriend. I am really hoping that Hermione dies, because she's annoyed me since the Sorcerer's Stone.

I REALLY hope that Sirius stops being dead.

but she did an interview on tv here a few days ago, JK that is.
and she said she had originally planned to keep 2 people alive who she has now killed, altho a lot more people than that die.

awhile ago they even set up a hotline because they are worried that teens will get depressed and even SUICIDAL by the deaths. Not to offend anyone, but if a character dying in a book makes you want to hurt yourself, then please go to therapy! And I bet this means very important people will die; few teens would attempt suicide if professor sprout died.

Things that need to happen:

Harry needs to MAN-UP and ask Lupin the questions about his parents that he never got to ask Sirius...

I want to know why Ddore had jame's cloak...? How did he know what happened at the Potter's house?

Snape; evil or or great?

Neville- He has to be important. There has to be MORE to him than has been in the books yet. his terrible memory- it has been suggested that it may be the effects of a strong memory charm earlier on in his life. it seems plausible, and jo mentions his bad memory so often, it seems like there's got to be something behind it... of course, if it is because of a memory charm- what did someone want him to forget?? Or maybe he is going to be the "wormtail" of the Trio. He and Wormtail are both tag-along friends, fat friends, not very good at wizarding... something to think about, yes.


There's more, obviously. I am very excited for the book. Sewing be damned! I will be reading like nobodies business.

We ususally get the book a few days after it comes out then i take a look at it and maybe read the first chapter but then i quit cause the chapters are too long, lol, then i'll read it all a few months later and end up really liking it :p

But yea, can't wait till the movie comes out, it looks awesome!

harry potter pisses me off now..

i wish they all came out within a few months of each other.
then i could have read them all at once and they would have been childhood classics for me and i'd look back on them fondly.

but cause they take so long, ive forgotten them..ive forgotten how i used to feel when i read the first one..how i almost believed it.

and now i kind of expect harry to have grown up with me. i expect him to be out getting pissed and having sex..and it confuses me when he's not, when he still behaves and talks like a kid

Believe it or not, not every person is out having sex at 16/17... He gets pissed plenty, pissed and emo.

I kinda like that it's not focussed on that shit though. Make's it less complicated and Hazza really doesn't need to be any more emo.
I'm rereading pheonix right now, and I could whack the kid because of his freakin tantrums.

Sometimes Harry does piss me off because of all of his dumb tantrums. But I guess I should give him a break; he's been through quite a bit.

I have to wait for my sister to read the book until I get it =[ Oh well, it won't be long, it'll take her a week at most.

I don't want the series to end. I kind of think that Harry's going to die but then there's going to be another series that kind of goes off on another character that was in the story...like Nevil. That would be so awesome, probably not going to happen though.

I want the people that died in book 5 and 6 to be alive again =[[

I desperately need to re-read 6, but i can't find it ANYWHERE! Ideally i should read them all again, but I've read the first few so many times i really cbf.

I've lost a lot of the feeling I had for the series when I was younger. I read through it all last year, and it definitely wasn't at great as I remembered it when I was 13. People that don't read other fantasy books seem to like it more than those that do, I've noticed. That's also 'cause the vast majority of them are horrible elitists, though, and would never admit to liking HP at all.

Eh, I'll probably get it after a while to see how it panned out. Book 6 was pretty good (I was actually like 'WTF?!' at the end, the first time in a while something by Ms. Rowling took me by surprise), but number 5, with Harry's temper and all, was a bit shite.

Professional writers that put words in capital letters just annoys the crap outta me. Still, I'm interested to see how it all ends.
