I got accepted to do Hairstyling (YAY FINALLY RIGHT?!) and my program starts May 1st!
But the school told me I have to dress "professionally". I'm allowed to wear leggings and tights along side dress pants, but I have noooo idea what to do for outfits. I have A LOT of clothes so if you name it, I probably have something similar, but I'm always up for shopping for new clothes. ^.^

I'm sort of an hourglass shape. I have a large bust, relatively small waist and bigger hips. dress/pant sizes 6-8, depending on the make.

help me, and suggest some outfits please. I'm so lost when it comes to looking like an adult hahahah.

popcorn I love you

here is the easiest way to dress for any "-ist" job (hair stylist, makeup artist, assistant, etc)

wear. all. black.

to start off my wardrobe, I bought black cardigans, black crew neck tees, lace tank tops, and a variety of dresses. by doing this, I was able to try a bunch of different options each day. leggings with the lace tank and cardigan. or leggings with the lace dress and blazer and flats.

basically, I can throw something - anything - together and always look pulled together and polished.

I do suggest getting cardigans and blazers for layering, and a great pair of PLAIN COMFY BLACK flats...I empathize that because a plain flat without a lot of embellishment will work with absolutely any and everything. and do not go cheap on the flats...spend the money on a good pair that will last you a while!

I got lucky when I was in school. We just wore scrubs, so there was no worrying about what to wear!

I bought a plain black v neck, two lace 3/4 length shirts (one black and one creme), 2 pairs of leggings and a pair of skinny dress pants! cardigans and blazers are next on my list, as well as a great pair of flats!
Thanks girls!! Very Happy Sooo exciting that we'll be going to school "together" hehe. xo

As far as shoes go flats are good but something with a teensy bit of a heel to support your foot is even better. make sure your shoes are versatile and comfy- it is SO SO important to have good support for your feet!!!

Some of ym favourite work shoes are actually Doc marten boots haha, they're extremely comfy, warm and supportive of my little feet.

flats with just a sole and no support will hurt your feet and your back Sad

i always wore shirts that were loose around the armpit hehe we had no air con it was a nightmare... no one wants to sweat on their client/partner yo
