| Subject: Drugstore foundation- alternative to revlon colorstay? Sun Mar 27, 2011 5:16 am | |
| I've been using revlon colorstay for a long time, and I love the formula, but I can't find the right shade. I've only had two bottles, the first one was Almost the right shade but the undertone was kinda too pink. My current bottle again is allmosttt the right shade but it's ever so slightly too dark/brown (possibly not enough yellow to it). So I wanna look at the shades available in similar products.
What other drugstore foundations have the coverage of colorstay? I don't think I'd mind one with a slightly thinner consistency either, colorstay can be a little bit difficult to blend at times either cus it's too thick or dries too quickly.

| Maybe you might just want to try a color corrector with it? If you love the foundation and the quality of the product and all that, you might want to look into one of those instead. Inglot has some, and I know it's not from the drugstore but it's really not expensive (I don't know if they have any stores in your area though).. Coastal Scents seems to make a pretty decent pack of correctors as well | |

| would I just mix that in to alter the shade a bit? There's an Inglot at Westfield, I go there every so often so that's an option Could you link me to it on their website, I can't find it | |

| hm I cant seem to find it either but I'm pretty sure it was this product http://www.inglotcosmetics.com/cream.foundation/products/139/398 except in store they had green, lavender, white and salmon I believe
they also have this http://www.inglotcosmetics.com/cream.concealer/products/139/229 which is thicker, I used to have this but I never really used it to mix with, only to cover up any redness..
Hope this helps a little !
