Montreal Fetish Weekend!

Soo my model friend I worked with on that photoshoot a while ago (the funky pink dress) also designs a fetish clothing line with her boyfriend and they've got a slot in for the montreal fetish fashion show! yay!

Now she's asked me to help out with make-up and I'm stoked but I'm not sure what to do? I've never done a real fashion show none the less a LATEX FETISH one! Gah
I'll have about 7-10 models to make up and I'm going to check out the clothes on sunday

any suggestions other than sexy smoky eyes or shiny vinyl lips? cos that's all I can think of!

Exciting! Just try not to do anything to hard out. If you're by yourself and are looking after 7-10 models, touch ups can be a nightmare (believe me, haha).

It depends on if they're seated or standing and the lighting and stuff, but out of lips or eyes I'd go for shiny lips, they stand out the most and make a big impact unless you're going to do super panda eyes.

Brainstorm with the designer if you can! This is a great opportunity Nini, hope it all goes great for you

You can always browse deviantart for inspiration if you're really stuck. There's always something interesting lying around there.

Yeah I saw his new collection on Raw but wasn't that into it

weeeell I went to check out the outfits
so we've got
1-Black/Blue latex corset mini-dress, the skirt looks like tulip petals, fairy-like
2-Black/Navy latex "doll" corset mini-dress, pouffy skirt
3-Pink & Black latex corset mini-dress
4-Navy and teal high waisted skirt, flares out, not very shiny like most latex, with corset, sort of pinup-y (model is rather tan)
5-guy corset. very girly guy, can do anything make-up wise

I have a general idea of what I'm going to do with everyone and am very excited about the dolly one (2) but am open to suggestions! I'll Post pictures of my sketches tomorrow because I need to go out and get batteries

I think I'll drop by the costume shop too and see if they've got some blue micro-glitter, if not I think I'll get some of MAC's "reflects" pigments or whatever I saw a gorgeous purple/blue one

I REALLY like the lips; they look very latex-y and shiny.

I'm not so sure about the eyes though. The make up is beautiful, as always, but I don't know if it sort of suits the fetish thing you're going for. Idk. Maybe this one would look good with outfit #1?

sexy, but i reckon amp up the eye s alittle, add some blush and make the top of the cupids bow pointy perhaps. adn maybe a little more gloss on the lips?

extend the shape of the shadow more (think cat eye) and add more gloss. that's it!

nope. you should check out some of the runway shows that had black lips...I say use them for all models regardless of lip shape

i'm loving those eyes with the electric blue underneath i'd say go for those. although the first eyes you did were smexy i'd say the blue ones are more fetish-y? i think the black lips would look fine on her lips as well. ooooh this must be so exciting for you!!!
