| Sophomore semi is on Saturday and even though I'm a junior, I'm going because my friend decided to bring me [her mom was like, 'OH MY GOD MY DAUGHTER CAN'T GET A REAL DATE!' when she found out haha]. Anyway, my friend wants me to do her makeup, but I'm not sure what I want to do. Her dress is blue with silver accents, which is crazy because my dress for semi last year was blue with silver accents. Anyway, I figure that doing blue to match the dress would be kinda tacky looking, so I was thinking just like a neutral eye, but that's so BOOORING! I kind of want to incorporate silver, but I don't know what I'd do if I did that.
Any suggestions? Thanks! |

| I would do some sort of smoky eye with silver in the middle of the lid and a lighter, white-ish shimmer in the inner corners. Maybe with a slight flick with black liquid liner on the edges? With just plain, shimmery lips. | |

| Blue eye make up with a blue dress will only look tacky if it's badly done. If you rock it out, it'd look great.
What accessories is she wearing? Hair? Complexion? Smokey eye with silver incorporated is a pretty failsafe way to go. It's bound to look good no matter what everything else looks like (assuming her face can handle it). I would probably just go for a silver wash with neutral colour in the crease and then heavier liquid eyeliner on the top, and neutral lips.
Or you could go neutral eyes and do brighter pink or coral lips (both of which look good with blue). | |

| I think a smokey eye would be too heavy for the dress she's wearing, but I'm thinking I might try the silver wash idea :] Thanks!
I'll post pictures later :] |
