| Alright, so I've never done anything to my hair, other than cut it. I really want to do something cool and kind of different for the beginning of school, but I need advice. I know nothing about this stuff. So this is my hair the shortest it's EVER been, along with the shortest bangs I've ever had: And this is it now (I HATE this picture, but it shows it well): So yeah, the color is completely natural. It's in good condition. I just want a change. Nothing way TOO drastic though. Could I pull off a fringe? Should I go back to lots of layers with the side bangs? Should I color it? Would a dark auburn color look good on me? ANY suggestions, I'm open to hear. | |

| dark auburn would be rad, and so would layers. side bangs would also be rad [I find them to be more versatile than full on bangs].
ugh, see, I'm already bored with my hair, because I can't do much with it. Its been so humid, all I can do is slick it back! ;-; | |

| Thanks for the responses I'm thinking something along the lines of that, but more the color of Julia Roberts' hair in this picture: What do you guys think about that? EDIT:: my natural hair texture is just like Lindsay's in that picture, that's why I think t'd work really well on me... | |

| My sister seems to think that this cut would look good on me: The only thing is that my hair is quite a bit thicker, soo.. I don't know how that would work... | |

| i like the bluntish fringe your sister suggested - i mean, it'd probably take a wee bit of styling, but you wanted a change and it certainly would be! or a side swept fringe. also, i really like the auburn ideas, but if you were unsure abuot that you could keep most of it brown and do the underneath/longer layers red, like when avril lavigne did hers black (sorry she;s the only example i could think of!) i.e.... - Spoiler:

| Thanks lovelies! Lindsay, it's always looks amazing right when i come out of the salon - they always make it so soft. Redkin(?) prodects are the BEST. And Steph, i couldn't get the balls to do the color... or the money for it done in a salon. Should I still? My friend thinks I should go darker - a deep chocolate brown with some reddish tint? I don't know... | |
