| i left it at the store, because they have a seamstress that's really good with vintage fabric (it's from the 40's, I don't wanna fuck it up!) who's going to shorten it a bit for me. as soon as I get it back I'll post it! I'm so excited!! | |

| zooooom! sorry folks, im spamming the thrift thread againn. Bought this ages ago but forgot to post it. Paisley AND boats? What could be better! - Spoiler:
Also got this the other day and I just bloody love it, I can see me never taking it off for the duration of the summer. It doesn't look much special in its normal state, like most things I buy its mostly bigger than I am, but its proved to be dead versatile so far, Im sure im gonna find a few more ways to wear it. - Spoiler:
also got this cool little old book, it used to belong to someone called Maurice, and it was given to him as a christmas gift in 1947, according to the writing inside. - Spoiler:

| i love it when that happens with books! i get excited when i know it belonged to someone before. esp if it's a very old book. my oldest book it's, of course, a Dicken's novel printed in 1903. it's in antique spanish =D
i would convert that dress in a strapless dress.. with a ribbon or sth under the boobies.. nice fabric! | |

| Okay, can I just say that I hate Goodwill? And Salvation Army? Here's why; almost all of the they have are DONATED, with the except few of the random things from Target's last season selection. But still, it's Target, moderately priced. I don't want to buy a skirt from Target at Goodwill for $8, sorry. If I wanted to I'd go to Target to pay that much, I go to Goodwill because I want to spend LESS. OKAY? Yeah, just because that skirt was donated (or you have some sort of cooperate deal idk) from Target doesn't make it worth more than all the other random clothing from Target, Walmart, the mall etc that was donated from people clearing out their closets. Prices are ridiculously high, and then at the Salvation Army prices are so ass-fuck-random it makes absolutely no sense. anyway, check this hot mug I found. It's a J, for.... What's my name again? | |

| lmao it's so true though!! we don't have a Goodwill here, but we have a ''Village des Valeurs'' My ass... everything is so fucking expensive (for what it is!) I dunno. This should be the cheapest option, but then why is the brand new clothes from Maxi or Loblaws less expensive?? | |
