Thrift SCORES!!!!

So today I went to one of my local goodwills and hit gold!!!!

Im using teh famz computer so i had to use photo booth to take pictures....and i was just to stoked and wanted to post pictures! So they are kinda dark, sorry bout that....here we go!!

Oooh good thread! Here's some charity shop stuff i bought recently.

I got this cute little box a few weeks ago, for only £1.50! Im pretty sure its all hand made as well, what a bargin! Im using it to keep my embroidery threads in at the moment hah.





Then I got this necklace yesterday, and it was only 50p! Reduced from £1.50. Im not sure what grey part is, i think its just a piece of marble, but its pretty.



And last week i got a plain black waistcoat but i wont post a pic cause its pretty self explanitory lol, it was only £3.

and on the same day i got this top for £2




Its from topshop, but its from the tall range and its a size 10, so i have no idea how it fits me, but it does!

P.s, ignore the wardrobes, im halfway through putting that fablon stuff on!

my vintage cons!



genuine 80s converse, found brand new in a chairty/secondhand/vintage type shop, rigghhht at the back. they hadn't even been worn!
they were my first every cons, got them when i was like, 13 ahahaha.

I went to the Goodwill store by the OW office today on my home from my appointment. I got 2 skirts for $1 each (one black jersey, and one khaki one with cute flowers on the bottom of it), and 3 t-shirts (2 were $1.50 and 1 was $5.99).

Total SCORE!

I've donated quite a few things to thrift stores; hopefully my old possessions will be another person's treasure.

for 10 bucks instead of 70 if she had gotten it at the school bookstore

i love the shoe sections but shoes in charity shops always seem to be too big for me, im only a size 3!
Soraya, i go to all the charity shops really, stockton seems to have about 14, im not even kidding! The marie curie cancer one is where the two necklaces iv bought have been from, and i find that help the aged is reasonably priced, and we've just got one in the town recently called "mind" which always seems to have nice stuff in and is cheap.
Some of them are a bit OTT though, i mean i know its for charity, but iv seen plain t-shirts going for £3.99, and who is goign to pay that when you can them brand new for the same or cheaper?

I went to a thrift shop yesterday and it was a pretty good day for them! I got overall shorts that i wore today and got a bazillion compliments on. They're sooo goofy and cute. And I got an Izaac Mizrahi (for Target) dress that's really pretty and that I'll wear to my sister's graduation ($7) and some nice bermuda short-length shorts that are like, nice thick stretchy brown material. Hard to describe.

OH and on top of all that, I got 2 scarves. One is a square scarf that's maroon with a like, pasely print on it, sorta. Very pretty and soft - 100% cotton. The other is a pashmina (sp?) which is like, kinda shiney light brownish. Hard to describe, but it's 100% silk and sooo nice.

I got this Zebra print lamp today


and a VHS with 2 episodes of Dinosaurs on it!

dinosaurs was the SHIT, man. I had a VHS with all the episodes once!

Damn, I miss Dinosaurs, what a great show.
