Is THIS really good enough for a fashion-magazine??

I just found this in German Glamour-magazine:



I think its horrible! No blending, the red lips shining through the pink... I bet everyone on this forum could do better, right?

Whats going on? Why don´t they choose wearable, well done lokks for their makeup-recomendations?

Eewwwww, like blue eyeshadow and pink lips together is bad enough. But the sooo bad blending of that eyeshadow and the disgusting mascara. I can't believe thats in Glamour magazine!!!!!

Oh i've seen loads of appalling looks is fashion magazines, i always just think, i'd rather all of those kids on the internet do the make-up tutes and stuff, because frankly like you guys and the girl who makes bows (god my memory is dead) and the queen of blending and monroe misfit would do a much much much better job.

yep, that's pretty sloppy looking, but I see makeup in just about every magazine that could be way better.

Sometimes I wonder about the makeup in magazines. Then I figure that the makeup artists probably went HERE.

It freaks me out how she has so much on the inner corner of her eye. It gives her face a dumpy weird appearance.

Sarah, blue eyes and pink lips is an awesome combo, if it's actually done well. Not everyone looks like a disaster like this girl.

Yeah, this is pretty bad :/ I notice it a lot, now. Even on tv... some of the stuff that's allowed to go on film is shocking.

It could be that they want to show it could be done by most women (who generally don't wear make up at all). Although, yep, the red lipliner is pretty yick. And the blue colour they used, while at a stretch it might look cute in real life, looks fugly here.

man, this just reminds me of the specktra thread I did, about when girls should start wearing makeup [after I saw the vid I think Jay posted]. people got a little pissy, but that's a prime example of why most girls should stay away. :\

Thats pretty bad, although I can't say my makeup didn't look pretty bad too at that age.

i remember wearing a tonne of brown eyeliner? but it didn't look THAT bad
