Sorry there are so many! Any favorites?

Oooh, I love the one of the caterpillar! Some of them are quite good (number 18 is another fave), I know sweet f.a. about photography, but I like what you do!

Out of interest, what camera do you use?

Kendra I use my Nikon S9. It's small and pretty and really really good quality. I highly reccomend it.

Thanks! I wish I could scan and put up some of my black and white photoraphy that I developped and printed myself. It much more fun, and more... dramatic. I love being in the dark room.

And yes, Flor, I almost always have macro on. It seems to make the quality better, no matter what. Plus, blurry photos are my pet peeve.

ooh they are lovely, i do a lot of photography myself and ive been trying to get a macro lens for my camera but they are like £4000 or something ridiculous

Eep! That's insaane. For all those, I was using my digital camera which is a Nikon. It was about $250. The macro feature is built in, so no extra lenses... thank god.

lucky you, mine is an olympus E-50 or something, i think it was like 600quid when i got it but i forgot to see how much extra lenses were. It came with a wideangle and sort of closeup lens anyway so at least theres something haha

Thats pretty sweet. I'm yet to get a fisheye lens for my other camera. I LOVE the look of fisheye stuff. It's so fun!

That caterpillar one is awesome.. It was really weird because i thought the cathedral one was a pic of the national cathedral, which is like 200 yards from my school, and then it wasn't.

But then i saw that you WERE in DC, where i live.

19 is my favorite. I love the cherry trees, tis the only good thing about DC probably.

Thanks! The cathedral is actually in Quebec. I couldn't tell you the name of it or where it was, but it sure was not in DC.. The ones taken in DC were from my school trip to Washington for a week. Probably the best week of my life.

That's also in Quebec. The hotel is the one with the spinning restaurant on top, right outside of the old part of the city. I love the colors of the sky and grass in that one.

I LOOOOOVE the caterpillar one, and the ocean-side ones (like the fish net one, and lobster crate one). You are REALLY talented. You should try to sell prints.

Edited to add: I would totally buy prints of 1 & 2 for my bedroom. The colours would be fabulous with the print of The Daneids that is going in there.

Where in Quebec? I grew up in Montreal. But I've been all over the place.

Hmm.. the cathedral was like, right outside of the old city too. I think it was near the big waterfall thing that's there. I'm actually not sure though, I was on another school trip and wasn't paying attention to where the bus was going.

The one with the pretty sky is like, right outside the old city, where there's like a long, old stone wall that was put up to block people in the war or something. Right behind me was a big river...? Sorry I'm not good at this game..


And thanks Shauna!! I'd totally send you a high-quality file of any of them if you'd want it... my camera takes HUGE files that can be stretched out without getting pixel-y... And thanks about me being able to sell them. I doubt I'd be able to make much money, but I'm looking into photography as a profession perhaps. That'd be fun.

It's okay, it's my childhood home but that doesn't mean I know it well. I know it like a child who remembers only the pretty things and the walk home from school.
