ooh this its really easy!.. i just made two...they're for painting brushes but they could work for makeup ones as well.......
ok on to a bad tutorial!
so what i did was measure my brushes to see roughly how big to make the roll...i went with a 13x13(inches) square i cut out two squares one in a fancy fabric and one in some muslin i had kicking about..
for a closure i used some ribbon for that i pinned it on the right side of the fancy fabric on the left with a little bit poking out the edge...and make sure you pin down the rest of the ribbon to the face of the fabric or else it will end up getting caught in one of the seams...not that i would know....
...
sooo then you put the muslin square on top of the right side of the fancy fabric pin it down and sew around the edge i think i used a 5/8ths seam allowance... but make sure to leave a little gap between your starting point and your end point you you can flip the whole thing inside out... so then i trimmed the seam allowances and clipped in to to corners...not into the stitching but close so when turned the corners will look nice...flip it inside out, stitch close the gap, unpin the ribbon
for the inside brush holdy bit i just used more muslin again i measured the brushes i had and got a 12x6 rectangle... i then ran a stitch across the top so it wouldnt fray then i sewed the other three sides down... to make the compartment i just sewed some lines down the pocket they differ in size..
so yeah thats my kind of tutorial...sorry if it sucks... but now for pictures!!
it all rolled up
yea i look crazy in that one...i just woke up..sorry... but yeah you can see the ribbon wrapped around to keep it shut.. and the heart patch i sewed on
unrolled front
unrolled in side
yay....if you need any clarifications just let me know
