Okay, I want to cut layers shorter above my ears, so you can see my ears even while wearing my hair down (does this make sense?). Kind of like a more punk type of style. The piercer that was piercing my friend's bellybutton had it like that. It's a lot of layers, but there is absolutely no hair covering the ears, just above the ears.
I'm trying to find pictures of hairstyles like that, but honestly, I have no idea where to start, or if it has a name?
(I don't want to just cut my hair without a picture in mind - its usually what I do, but this is a sort of more drastic haircut then I usually just give myself).
