| I've never bought mascara before because my mum gave me 2 of hers.. One I've thrown away cus it finished, Este Lauder The other is Clinique and I like it but it doesn't do exactly what I want it to. So basically I know nothing about drugstore mascara Aside from the usual, I want one that: Is not dry looking Doesn't make your lashes look thin Makes them thick at the base and lush Is just nice and smooth looking basically. My lashes are long and quite thick, if that helps. | |

| I like Max Factor Masterpiece.
I have naturally long, dark lashes but they tend to dissapear when i put on black liner. The brush takes a bit of getting used to but when you get the knack its really good.

| I used Lash Stylist (can't remember who it's by) and that was anazing. It's a comb-type mascara but it had the nrmal kinda bristles too, so that can make your lashes look awesome.
However, I am vurrently using a Got2b or something like that (really cheap, superdrug, spend £5 in store get an item of it's cheap make=up for freee to i got the mascara) and it's really good! So that's good if you haven't got much money... like me...
that's aboutt as much hel as can give you i'm afraid.

| i use the Volume Couture by Max Factor and i've been pretty happy with it. it doesn't flake and is flexible (on me at least) my lashes are naturally quite long (and black) and the mascara makes them look a bit thicker |

| Volume Clubbing by Bourgois or the double ended L'oreal one, I forget the name for a cheap mascara, Magnascopic by Estee Lauder for volume, or Inimitable for Chanel for length. |

| I use Define-A-Lash by Maybelline. I have naturally long lashes. So it just gives them a nice dark color. =] |

| I like a lot of Maybelline mascaras, they are way better than the Clinique ones I've used. My favorite is Lash Stylist, but it takes a few trys to get used to for most people. Right now I have the new Define-a-Lash, the one that's suposed to give more volume than the regular one, I really like it! | |

| Lindsay, do you have the one in the green bottle? That's the one I use and I love it. You can use it two ways. There's two sides. Which is really cool. I love having options! |

| Ok, so far: Max Factor Lash Blast Max Factor Masterpiece <<<Which out of those is best for volume? Max Factor Volume Couture
Maybelline Lash Stylist <<<And out of those?? Maybelline Define-A-Lash
Volume Clubbing Bourjois <<<Gunna check out reviews for that one
After I know which of the MF and Maybelline are best I can go looking for reviews for those too..I really hate buying make up thinking its ok at the store, and then realising it's not THAT great so I'm gunna take my time deciding. At the moment I'm thinking lash blast because jamie your lashes look soo thick in the make up pics thread!! Thankies girlies!!!

| Max Factor Max is meant to be best for volume, but if you have good lashes already you really just need a decent brush. The stands generally have an exemplar brush head stuck somewhere beside the barrels, so might be worth having a look to see which one you'd prefer. I'm fairly certain i chose the Mastepiece because the bristles (if you can call them that) were a lot softer. | |
