Haha, I totally got lucky! I went to the mall originally with all intentions of buying my boyfriend a Bday gift, I wasn't even going to look for anything for myself (well, I mean, I did... but still! I was gonna look but not touch!lol).
Hottopic was having a sale where all the sale shoes wear only $5, I was tempted to buy a pair of Vans that were also on sale, but had to stop myself.

I tried black tights on with it too and I still felt exposed and "Punk whore" or whatever. Maybe I'm just overly sensitive about those things or something. I'm very concerned with image and having too short of a skirt just projects something that I don't want to project.

Why not try leggings? They're totallly opaque, like tight pants.

Unfortunately I can't stand leggings I think they look tacky >_<

everyone and their damn grandpa has a pair. everyone looks generic. I thought they'd be out of style by now...but no...bleh.

I personally find them convenient for when I want to wear a minidress or super long top..it looks weird with jeans, and whorish with stockings...so I compromise
