| Isn't so easy. I have a long time to find one because I need one for my 16th bday, which is September next year I'm having an Alice in Wonderland themed tea party and I am determined to have it in a nice park, and I don't want to have it as a picnic on the ground I want it on a table! I also don't want it to be in one of those areas where they're all crowded together on concrete, cus I wouldn't really like to have random people eating lunch a metre away from my party haha! Plus I don't think they'd like it that much either. But if the place is awesome enough I'm sure I can forget this minor detail. I live in the borough of Hillingdon, which is in Middlesex, but I can also travel to Central London. Someone suggested Kensington Gardens to me, but I really don't fancy going all the way there just to check if there are picnic benches. Any of you been there and can remember if they do have them? Any other suggestions round the areas mentioned? I have tried online, but unsurprisingly, websites don't really tend to list whether they have picnic benches.. P.S Ehehe I've bought the fabric for my costume, I'm scared to make it incase I mess up | |

| I have drawn sketches of the costumes and written lists of stuff I want to do/eat It's so fun planning such a cute party idea ehehe If I find somewhere in London I might also go to Madame Tussauds afterwards, with whoever is willing to pay for themselves because I'm poor. Last night i couldn't remember whether I was 14 or 15 | |

| Maybe rent some tables and go to the park early to set them up? |

| maybe go on an LJ community like "offthehighstreet" and make a post asking if they know. its a uk only community and a good few of them live down your way so it might be worth asking.
on the websites, just keep an eye out for "picnic areas". may sound obvious but just in case. you could always email the parks people and see if they reply. | |

| yup, yet november, few days ago; it was nice! maybe look for somewhere sheltered or have it in your garden on the grass but think of a way you could maybe put up tarpaulins or something if it rains? | |

| thanks I'll try that LJ I'm not sure about the rain issue, I might rely on the weather forecast.
Edit: Can I have a link, I can't seem to find it and it seems LJ has moved its community search
