| Alright, so I've never been overly makeup savy and have mostly always stuck to just using eyemakeup but because of my recent breakouts i've decided to venture into the realm of concealer / foundations. The trouble is that I have no idea where to begin! I don't want anything that'll make my skin break out even worse and I need something EXTREEMLY pale for my very white skin. While I'm willing to dish out the big bucks if absolutely necesary, I'd rather not ( ) Any suggestions? Thanks in advance girlies (P.S. It's my first official post on Cupcake Mafia! Wewt!) |

| i use bareminerals and love it! i use the "fairly light" shade. i think there's one or maybe two shades that are lighter, but i have pretty pale skin. it goes on very light and doesn't feel cakey, and apparently doesn't clog pores (i don't really have many breakouts, so i don't know). it covers EVERYTHING! i looovve it! i don't really know how much it costs, but i can say that in my opinion, its worth it. it doesn't sweat off and basically makes you look like you're ...well... bare! highly recommended! |

| if you're prone to constant breakouts like me, try a powder foundation. because the edge of my face is darker than the middle, I use VERY LITTLE tinted moisurizer/foundation where I need it, concealer around my nose and on my bridge [thanks for the dark spots, glasses], then I use a flat blusher/bronzer brush to buff the powder foundation in my skin. I use MAC's studio fix - its worth the $26 american! you may want to opt for tinted moisturizer [there's no way you can mess it up!], and for the perfect shade, try CG Smoothers SPF 15 in Fair to Light. my friend Courtnee is extremely pale, and its perfect for her skin. she doesnt like a lot of face makeup, so its perfect for her. I use Mark. as of a full foundation, I like CG's Trublend liquid foundation. the Trublend Whipped foundation is great too [if Im correct, thats the one Meggles uses]. my friend courtnee likes CG Smoothers foundation, which is what I would prefer for you because once again, its great for her pale skin: haha, I know its a lot of CG, but they really have THE best foundation when you want so save money. bareminerals gets a lot of rave reviews, and, like studio fix, is basically a powder foundation, so that's worth a shot, too. and concealer...well, its all about personal preference. do you want a thick one, or a thin one? heavy coverage or light? once you get your basics figured out, like foundation and powder, you can delve deeper into concealer and blushers, and even bases. hope I helped! | |

| I just got the bare minerals kit and it comes with both light and fairly light so you get the right shade. Its expensive but totally worth it. Seriously. | |
