| so, my mum is going shopping for a long weekend to new york (super jealous!) and apart from like 100 pairs of uggs, i've seen a ton of stuff from abercrombie that i'm in love with!
for some dumb reason, the a&f site diverts to the uk one every time i try to go on, so i dont really know what the prices are in the us?
could anybody see what the prices are in $ for these?
jacket pjs tank
sorry, the stuff that i picked is so random! i just wanted to see if there was an average exchange rate across the ranges!
thanks! | |

| cut the uk price in half and you'll have the american price. I think thats how it is, cos that how I taught myself how to convert to uk prices. | |

| haha! yeah that is the exchange rate!
i just wanted to know the actual prices on a&f us site because brands almost always mark up the prices when they ship to the uk. iff ya get me?! :]
i mean - would they seriously charge $300 for a jacket?
(if they would that is insane!)

| YES.
I personally hate A&F and ae because of the prices. I can get the same stuff at old navy for half the price!

| Ooohh thanks so much!
I can't believe how freakin expensive it is! I mean, even at the great exchange rate its still more than the average cost of stuff here.
Damn the purdyness of it all!

| Okay... that tank down here would cost around $40. Maybe even $60-80. Hell, there was this TARGET brand (really cheap quality too) that charged $80 for this plain tank top that was completely ugly and I wouldn't even pay $10 for. Craziness. That is such a freaking gorgeous tank though. I'd pay $40 for that. |

| thanks jade! - ive been lusting after it for forever! we dont get any pretty tops like that here (crappy weather im guessing) and especially not babydoll style ones. so its like love! :]
$80 for a tank top? that's a joke! when i was shopping in london a year back, in harrods, there was this racerback versace tank. it was like super super thin stretchy material with some crappy diamonte's on and you would totally have been able to see your bra if you wore it. it was *reduced* to £70. i mean wtf? thats like us$150 for something id dry my dishes with?!
eta - o/t but i think the prices are roughly equivilent to what topshop would charge.

| yea i get its versace, but the price was a joke for what it was - designer or no designer.
i dont mind paying more for something thats better quality, better cut or has longevity - but it didn't fit into any of those categories. i doubt it would last one (no doubt dry clean) wash unscathed.
oh well, i guess its aimed at people with far more money than sense.
