| my mom and i dyed my hair today. it just finally fully air dried, and there are patches in my hair where the dye just didn't take. my mom's being a bitch about it, telling me its my fault that it fucked up (even though she's the one that applied it to my head). what should i do? can i dye it tomorrow, and try and go the darker red? ugh. remind me never to dye my hair red. ever. it always goes blotchy. :/ | |

| Oh dear. What I would do is redye it a darker color and really let the color get soaked up.
Then again, I know zilch about beauty so wait til Puffy gets here before taking action. | |

| That happened to mine after I had it done at a salon once. She just had me come in a few days later and she put the same color over it. | |

| Yep, just wait a couple days, and redye over the hair. To get it to take better, try to have clean, dry hair when you do it, and then put either a plastic cap or plastic bag over it (it retains heat, and helps the colour take better). | |

| Shauna already said what I was going to, but once you have the shower cap/bag on your head, take a blow dryer to it to help your hair soak up that dye. also, take some deep moisturizer, and add some dye to it for when you do your weekly hair mask. also, some John Frieda hair glaze will help keep your results looking vibrant. | |
