There's a transgendered girl, which is such a spin. I'm excited for this season. I really like the French girl, for anyone who saw it last night. Opinions?

im not sure about isis. apparently, somewhere in the rules is says that you cannot be transgendered. so its kind of unfair. i mean ok its unfair cos she shouldnt be discriminated but because of the role and what it calls for...if it is in the rules that transgendered people should not apply...WAY TO GO TYRA TRYING TO MAKE TOP MODEL INTERESTING!!!!

as for isis, i agree with what kiki said. i don't really know the rules of the show or anything, so i can't say much, but i do think it's an interesting jump for the show. something new, something different. i'm just afraid of how all the other girls are going to deal with it, and just after the 2 hour premier, they're giving her shit about it... hmm... we'll see i guess.

and another thing - the futuristic theme... SO lame. and fake. ugh.

im watching the rest of it and i think it's unfair on pretty much everyone. it's unfair on isis because it makes things hard for her and obviously relationships with other contestants could be strained but its unfair on them too because some of them obviously are uncomfortable with it and it is supposed to be a female show. im not saying she isnt female, i completely understand the transgender thing but physically she's not and that complicates things.
i think one of the girls said it, and i'd probably agree with them; i'm fine with her being transgendered, i don't mind it at all but it shouldn't be an issue with her. if isis wins, i'd be slightly suspicious. i mean if she's a good model, fair enough but if she wasnt AMAZING in the way whitney wasn't AMAZING and still won...tyra's lookin for ratings!

Kay, so the theme in the first ep was really lame, but so far this season is looking like a massive improvement over the past few. Love Sheena, Marjorie and Joslen especially. They're very entertaining So is that hard out fighter girl, McKey? McGey? She was pretty funny.

Brittany and Elina are like... freakishly gorgeous, it'll be cool to see more of their personality.

ETA: Man that Clark chick seems like a bitch. "I don't mind being manipulative". WTF. Cow.

I just finished watching the first one. I'm already hooked again. I love Marjorie, shes sooo cute! I really like Isis and Elina and don't remember her name but the hoochie girl, shes funny. I really hate some of the cattieness thought. I got kinda pissed when Isis was trying to do her shoot and the girls behind the booth were making all sorts of comments about her. Thats just rude!

What was with the super cheesieness of the makeover show??

yeah wtf? the whole princess thing was too weird for me... i don't know. stupid. but i LOVE samantha's new hair. and marjorie is still adorable as always - the brown looks really good. and i surprisingly really like elina's new red hair. kinda reminds me of britney from last season (or the one before?) and her weave... but elina pulls it off so well. it's lovely. i really liked the photo shoot this time, too. but i'm excited for runway work next week!!! yay!

I like Elinas new hair too, sooo cute! I was a little dissapointed though, the makeover show is always my favorite, and most of the makeovers seemed a bit subtle this time, I wanted to see everyone with something more drastic done dammit! I gotta say too, I really dislike boxing girls(cant remember name..) hair, I think it looked better before!

I got caught up tonight,
but omg... Elina is such a bitch. "I hate my mom" well, she lets you live with her, she provides you with a home. Grow up. Made me so mad.
I hate Hannah, she's annoying. I'm sad that the one yackity girl with the page boy haircut went home.


And I don't really like Sheena's new hair, I think black looked better.
But uhmmm... McKee, I hate her name, and her hair is HID.

goddamnit mckey pisses me off SO much. like, SO much. rawr. and the new hair isn't that nice, you're right. it's too harsh for her skin, i think.

and, i don't know about the whole elina and her mom situation... it's weird. i feel bad for her because, there must be some reason behind what she's saying, and also that the other girls sort of harassed her about it.. which was totally uncallled for.. but at the same time... c'mon elina. that's really harsh. i don't know.

i kind of hope that hannah goes next.. but we'll see...

i also think sheena looked better black. grr. it's too light now. silly tyra...

Annaleigh is kind of annoying me. I think they're putting a lot on her ice-skating stuff but she's obviously not very capable of using it. I don't think she's much special.

I love how you can see the editing tho, because it was between Elina, her and the other bottom 2 girl for the interviews so it's like "ok 2 are obv gonna be in the bottom and one is top..."

Glad Brittney went because she was all "i dont wanna be pretty!" um..shut up!

Clark...yet to strike me as anything interesting really.

Elina is gorgeous and a good model. I think the thing with her mum, yeh there has to be a reason she says it. Maybe hate was too strong a choice for her but I could understand if she says she stopped her showing her feelings or something. Although i re-looked at her photo and for swimwear...it really doesn't deserve to win! it's portrait and i cant see the swimwear!

I ADORE Hannah, despite her being a bit socially out of it. she's really cute and sweet and takes good photos.

Isis is slowly going down hill...

I love Sam's new hair and am looking forward to seeing how she goes but dont thin kshes really...sparkly.

lauren-brie and sheena i like. sheena is really nice and funny and i like how she owned up to her boob-job. lauren-brie is the girl who was "ugly-pretty" right? she's interesting.

and my huge favourite is Marjorie! I love her! she's so cute and nervous and pretty and...yum!

I thought the other girls were too harsh with Elina too. I dunno, I guess if you don't understand the situation you might react that way. I kinda get where shes coming from, my mom is like that. I mean she fed me and clothed me, but she never told me she loved me or hugged me or asked about my feelings or anything like that.To the point where she hugged me after the fashion show for college, and it made me feel really uncomfortable. I guess you would call it emotionally distant. I think thats where shes coming from, hate is probably too strong of a word, but yeah, I get it...

I cannot believe hannah just got sent home! She was just nervous whereas Sam's walk was absolutely ridiculous!

Seeing as Tyra bent the rules to get Isis into the competition (or she did according to what I read; a lot of people said they rules state you must be female and in a technical sense, she isn't), I thought she would have gone a lot further. I mean, Sam's photo was good but she really insulted the designer and he told her more than once not to do what she did...I would've thought that deserved it a lot more
