| It's condensed UV rays cooking you...why would you do that? I personally think it's stupid. Solariums should be banned. | |

and that gradual tan stuff is good but it rubs off! mum got white lines aorund her legs from her boots rubbing it off! Yeah but like I said, solariums can omit up to 5 times the Australian sun which is strong as. And is having darker skin really worth dying? And being in constant agony? And getting wrinkles sooner? I just think it's so idiotic. Even if you forget about the cancer, people get this stuff done to improve their appearance, when they're only going to look older sooner! |

Even if you forget about the cancer, people get this stuff done to improve their appearance, when they're only going to look older sooner! Totally agree. I used to work with a girl (I was 22 at the time, and she was 18 ). She tanned all the time, and had what one would consider "bronze" skin tone because of it. She also had wrinkles around her eyes and mouth that were worse than my mom's (and my mom is in her 60s). It was gross. She seriously looked much, much older because of the skin damage. Also, my aunt on my mom's side got skin cancer from tanning outside, and my grandma on my dad's side got skin cancer just from being outside doing yard work (she had to have the top parts of her ears cut off because of it). Tanning is just bad. It's like smoking, or drinking excessively. You're asking for health problems. | |

| I practically glow in the dark. I look better with a bit of colour to my skin so I use Johnson's + Johnson's Holiday Skin.
It sounds gross when I'm telling Tim that the reason I'm taking to long in the bathroom is because I'm puttin' my skin on.
hahah.
Anyway, it's pretty much fake tan mixed with moisturiser. So it tans steadily and you can use it everyday to maintain a nice colour.
Solariums are so freakin bad. A beautiful girl in Australia got skin cancer from frequent tanning sessions. She died earler this year. |

| I kinda just like being out in the sun and feeling warm though, cause I'm naturally cool blooded. I don't tan easy due to loads of melanin in my skin.. But I kinda like being just a smidgen darker, it makes me feel better.
Solariums are horrible, though! |

| A lady in my class at school told me she has a friend who takes a bath in coffee to make his skin tan! She said he pours a a big tin of it in the bath tub every two weeks and soaks in it. | |
