| Alright so everything is a dollar and shipping is a flat rate of $5. Awesome right? Well, their products are cool too! I used them today after my gym fiasco when my face was an oil slick and they seriously worked. They took away all the oil and sweat I had but left the vast amount of purple eyeshadow I was wearing, in place. The only downside was that the sheets tore easily so I had to use about 3 or 4. **swoons** LOVE LOVE LOVE!! They're super-duper!! When i first ordered them I though they;d be like little mini sized but they're full sized, awesome brushes. I totally reccomend getting them if you need brushes and are on a budget. But even if you're not on a budget, they still rock! They look super sweet. They're not like "oh my god so fake!" looking lashes. You might want to use a different lash glue than the one previded since it tends to loose its hold after a few hours. But in general, I really like ELF. |

| I'm totally going to get some of the brushes, especially after hearing you rave! I was thinking, 'Even if they completely blow, they're A DOLLAR APIECE! How can you go wrong?' |

| The only ELF thing I've tried is one of the pan eyeshadows that you can stick in a pallete. I think it's ok but I don't think I like it enough to buy more. Mine is just floating around pallete-less though because they were out when I got the shadow. | |

| Apparently the Super Glossy Lip Shine SPF 15 is super super good, particularly in the shade Candlelight. That's what my new best friend Makeup Alley said anyway :p | |

| Woah cosmetics for 50p : | I think I'd be scared to use the foundations or shadows when they're that cheap haha.
Their range has grown dramatically since the last time I went on their. So many products now! | |

| So, I've had the brushes for a while and i think it's time for me to post a better, more in-depth review.
When I first got them, I was like OMG YAY!!! Buuuuuuuttt now I've begun to understand them better.
BEWARE!!! The first time you wash them, there will be some major dye washing off as well. But that goes away by the second wash.
Foundation Brush: Its shape and size are that of any foundation brush; not too big, not too small. But I hate using foundation brushes and the formula I tried it out with has always worked like crap for me. Makeup Alley has given it rave reviews however.
Total Face Brush: It's great for powder or blush. I use it quite often and i'm thinking of ordering another one. The bristles are super soft and I only experienced some minimal shedding the first few uses and when I washed it for the first time. It's begun to get a bit scratchy but that's because my MAC brush cleaner dried it out a bit. I reccomend washing it with shampoo or the same cleanser you use on your face.
Eyeshadow Brush: I LOVE THIS BRUSH! I have three. ^_^ The bristles are super dense and while they're soft, they're also stiff enough to pick up the color. It applies the e/s super smoothly and you get great color pay-off. If you're like me, and use more than one color per look, get a few of these brushes so you don't muddy up your shadow. For $1, you can't beat it.
Blush/Bronzer Brush: It has angled bristles which make it fantastic for contouring. It's a perfect brush for bronzer but I find it a bit too small for blush. I use it more often for powdering small areas like under my eyes and the sides of my nose.
Blending Brush: The worst brush in the bunch if you ask me. Its bristles are quite sparse and REALLY scratchy! Instead of blending my shadow, it just picked up the color and removed it. The bristles splayed and the brush got all out of shape for me. Not happy with it.
Eyeliner Brush: Great for non-powder liner. It's a bit too wide for doing detailed cat-eye liner or if you have small eyes but all around, it's pretty good. The bristles go straight across but you can make it angled but chopping a bit of it off.
Concealer Brush: THIS is the brush I use to do my eyeliner. ^_^ It's shape is compact and softly rounded at the top. I used to use MAC Studio Finish concealer (very thick and opaque) and this brush has the perfect stiffness for blending it. Still, I use it more often for my fluidline and doing thin cat-eyes.
Eyelash and Brow Wand: Another love of mine! It's shaped like a mascara wand and I'm sure it's just like any other wand but for me it's amazing. I'd never used one before and so I never knew how awesome it made my mascara look even if I was using a crappy cheap one. I love it.
Defining/Angled Eye Brush: This brush is soooo soft and feels great on my eyes. It's amazing for adding shadow to the crease or getting into those tight corners. The size is good for any size eyes. LOVE
All-around these are great beginner's brushes or even if you're a make-up veteren. If you're looking for a nice set to start out with and don't want to break you piggy bank for MAC brushes, go with these. The whole set is $12 and there's a code I can give you that takes half off. So come on, $6 for 12 awesome brushes, what are you waiting for? |

| its about the nordstrom thing. and how it'll still be the same price, but with new packaging and nordstrom's name on it. plus, not everyone knows about elf and the $1 thing. thats their way of advertising that to people new to it. | |
