| so today, I was playing around with my Prestige shadow, and I made a lush discovery: if you mix a little of the shadow with the wnw creme shadow... you get better color payoff then if you used the creme as a base with shadow on top, and it lasts even LONGER than it usually would. you can do the same with the UDPP, too! I may even try it with my diorskin. hopefully this helps anyone thats been using a cruddy base! | |

| While we are on the subject of bases, How much UDPP should you use? I don't know if I am just not using enough but my colours never really pop! Sorry if I am hi-jacking the thread but I thought there was no point in making a new thread if people would be discussing bases in here anyway! =] |

| haha, I dont use it, but you only need a little! just a tad goes a long way with ANY base, so if you overdo it, your shadows wont look good! HTH! | |

| i use the L'oreal de-crease which is essentially the same thing as UDPP and you should dab your lids to make sure there's no oil on them, then use the wand to make 3 or 4 swipes across your eyelid the use your ring finger to blend |

| yep, thats all it is! I read that a girl mixed a little shadow in hers to make a long lasting liner.
but for some reason this idea didnt click for me until today.
I noticed last night a slight crease in my shadow, so I tried that and it didnt even budge all day. Im so testing this at school. :]

| if i'm going to say, a gig, where i know i'm gonna get hella sweaty, i often used the tinyest dab of vaseline. like barely any. It tends to help my shadow stick to my lid. | |

if you can get your hands on some wet n wild creme shadow, I think it would work well! its best to use under "drugstore" shadows; milani, CG, MF, etc. I actually cant use vaseline - my lids are too greasy for it. the creme shadow dries so it keeps my lids dry all day. =D

| I used to use chapstick. It worked for a while but after a few months it would always crease by the end of the day even though I have really dry skin. | |
