| well if you think you can do it, try. just work your bum off.
i mean how far away is the dance thing?
because if you start now then...surely it wouldnt take that long? if you really want it, im sure you could do it.

| she's refused to buy the fabric and stuff for it though i did find a pretty cool site... http://www.versatilefashions.com since i'm wearing a corset no matter what... its jsut that they're so expensive i don't know how i'd afford a skirt as well... |

| you mean like wear a corset on its own and not as underwear?
because maybe she'd compromise and let you make a skirt?
you could make a skirt kind of like the oen you wanted maybe. or a different style. and if they corset on its own was a bit whorish or something you could add something underneath or put some temporary detail on the corset?

| It looks very 80s to me. I mean, it's not HORRIBLE, just not my "thing". I like the colour, though. | |

| Yeah (sorry, didn't realize there was a page 2...LOL). I don't know, I'm just anti-80s or something, because I was around back then (teenagers seem to like 80s stuff more than people my age...I think it's generational).
I do LOVE the colour, though.

| It looks like it would be very tedious to make with ALL those ruffles especially if you're a little short on spare time (don't know whether you are or not but ya know). But if you're experienced enough to be able to complete that/skirt part to go with corset I say go for it. The fabric can't be all that expensive. Only for the length. But you wouldn't need an expensive fabric in itself. | |
