| The movie verison will suuuuuuck!!
I bet they're gonna make it so that Bella's mum will die and that's why she has to go live with her dad. Which will completely ruin everything because the whole thing about how she thinks her mum's been captured is SUCH a huge part.
But.... i'll still go see it. |

| Emily Browning is definately not Bella. Bella is average looking and completely plain. The point is that Edward is attracted to he scent, not her initially.
And if they don't make Edward turn purple and sparkly in the sun for the movie, well, screw that! |

Sure, but throughout the book we only see her perspective and that she's comparing herself to the Cullens. She could still be pretty in other peoples opinions? - Quote :
- Bella: My narrator is actually surprisingly easy—there are several people that I think could do a decent job with Bella, Ellen Page and Danielle Panabaker among others. Right now my favorite choice is Emily Browning, of Lemony Snicket's fame:
Source Hahaha, the movie probably will suck, but it'll be full of sexy people, right?

| I read the first chapter of Midnight Sun (the one that she's writing from Edward's point of view) and Edward was reading other people's thoughts and he didn't find her attractive at the start. And other people were like SHE'S REALLY NOT EVEN THAT PRETTY so I actually don't think that she's drop dead gorgeous. I think that she IS quite ordinary and plain.
I kinda don't want there to be a movie. I don't want it to spoil the way I read the series, like it did with Harry Potter. But still, I'll HAVE to watch it. There's no way that I can't. |

| Hehe, no problemo C: I went on a thorough search of her site yesterday after I finished Eclipse cos I was like NO IT CAN'T BE OVER! So I read all the outtakes and that first chapter of Midnight Sun. I reckon it's interesting from Edward's point of view. Like, how he kept staring at her because he couldn't hear inside her head and he was frustrated and confused. I always wondered why he was staring at her on that first day. |

| Edwards perspective thingy isn't as bad as i thought it was going to be actually. Ew at Jessica though, she's a bit of a bitch! | |

| Ok, honestly, Midnight Sun (so far) makes Edward seem very immature to me. Doesn't a vampire have better things to do than complain about high school? And the fancy wording is a little gaudy, he sounds like a thesaurus, it's understandable, but it sounds bad to me. |

| I agree. He seems ridiculously petty and pedantic. I don't think I'll even read the full Midnight Sun. | |

| I will!
I don't care if Edward's all shallow and petty.
Those books are amazing.
Must... read... **rocks back and forth** |

| I think he has to be petty! I mean, he's going to high school everyday! His life revolves around going to high school - when he has a gazillion uni degrees - and hanging with his family/hunting. It's not extremely exciting... |

| True.
But still. You would think for being over a hundred-or-something like-that-years old, he would grow up a bit and immerse himself in other hobbies (yeah yeah, music I know)

Lol! Try reading A Song of Ice and Fire by George R R Martin, it is both completely awesome and infuriating because it takes him like 4-5 years to write a book. Number 5 is coming out this year, and there are going to be 7 books in the series.

I'm going to wait until they are all published before I pick them up again. I may be in for a loooong wait! |

| ok im gonna spoiler in case anyone still hasn't read it. - Spoiler:
So, I wasn't keen on how these books sounded and was like "meh" but a lot of people seemed to be getting all soppy over them so I borrowed Twilight from a friend to see what the fuss was about. Now, I absolutely adored Twilight. I sat and read it in like 2 days because I couldn't put the bloody thing down. I don't honestly think her writing style is anything particularly special and it slightly annoyed me but for some reason, I couldn't stop reading it. But to be honest...I think she lucked out on Twilight. New Moon (thats the second one right?) I was like...ugh. It wasn't that it was bad but it was just like...oh ok, Edward left her and isn't in it for most of the book and then we'll rush in at the end all of this stuff about him going to try kill himself and just cram all of this stuff in at the very end of the book. I thought it was so like...yknow what it reminded me of?! The FIVE CHAPTERS of CAMPING in Harry Potter it just went on a bit. I kind of like that she's falling for Jacob. It shows that she is only human and while for Edward, I feel it's different like he only could love Bella in his weird definition of love. She is still human and is capable of loving more than one person and Jacob can give her all of those things that Edward can't, he's like his opposite (being hot and everything). I think in the story, Bella NEEDED to fall in love with someone human and Jacob is perfect because he is the "natural enemy" of Edward in the sense of being a wolf but now also because he has Bella's love. If she didn't fall in love with him, there'd be no big dilemma about her changing. Now there's a small hope that she could go off with Jake and ruin everything with Edward. I didn't like the third book really. I was reading it and just wanted it over with. It was so..uh just no. Didn't like it. My friend assures me that Breaking Dawn is a lot better than these two. Also - CEDRIC DIGGORY IS EDWARD IN THE MOVIE. UH. DROOL
