| So, it started with the buttons encouraging votes for Edward and Jasper. Or Alice and Rosalie. Whichever Cullen/Hale combination you cared to interpret it as. Then I found the Swarovski crystal hearts I'd gotten intending to make Katie a Bella's bracelet(still hunting for the wolf charm...anyone whittle?), and got those made today. But someone had posted somewhere, either the LJ community or on Craftster, about how they had made their own vampiric remains to know when the dead vampire was trying to come back to life. Thus was born: Katie says I should put one on my "Alice version" of Bella's bracelet, because the crystals came in packs of two and she put the other on a chain for me. That way it would be like a gift from Jasper to Alice, saying, 'He knew the secret of your life, he hunted you before your creator saved you. I may have killed him to save Bella, but I can't think of a better revenge than making him a charm for your bracelet.' I think it's kinda silly. Mom wants me to make them earrings, which I think is a slightly morbid thought. Vampire 'ashes' as earrings? Not for me! I'm thinking keychains. And since I have two... and Rob Pattinson is going to be a half-hour's drive from here next Wednesday...well, maybe one of the little vials will make their way to his keys! My bracelet did not lend itself well to being photographed.. and yes, that is New Moon under my hand. | |

| As much as I dislike most things Twilight related (can't condone bad writing >.<), these are really cute Lisbeth. Pretty. | |

| Oi, just wait until you see Katie's Christmas present, Kiki... I'm going to applique the book covers and make her a friggin Twilight quilt! I'm going to go nuts.
Kendra, I'm usually right there with you, but I've been really depressed of late and couldn't do anything crafty, so that I managed these at all kind of made me a little happy, like maybe I'm finally snapping out of it? Mostly I just wanted to punch the characters in the nose, for being so whiny...

| i still agree with the books being shit but i was in a "i dont wanna read anything sensible" mood so i loved them for that. and the main reason i wanna see the film is...uh...the hottness that is cedric diggory (who he will always be, not edward).
but i still love these! | |

| Hehe, I made extra Cullen/Hale 08 pins to bring to his autograph signing on Wednesday. I can't decide if I'll be brave enough to give them to him or not.. much less the little vial of glitter! If I give him the glitter, I'll go to the pet store and get a tag that says 'James' just so there's a little bit more explanation as to what it is... Should I be brave, or should I just listen to mom and make them into earrings? Or be brave in a cowardly way... wrap the stuff up and give them to him in present-form and then run away.. | |

| Briefly, yes. He's doing a tour for the movie, a few of them are. He'll be here on Wednesday, and for buying a $30 tour shirt, if I'm one of the first 500 to buy one, I'm guaranteed to get into his autograph signing. | |

| Oh, yeah, I can see why you wanna go see the movie, there is a lot of general vampiric hotness. And I've read plenty of books that are better when you don't want to get too caught up in things.
I think you should be brave, Liz. Do it!

| I think I'm going to be a brave coward, and wrap them up or put them in a bag or something. At least that way I can run away before he sees! One of my co-workers might be there with me, and she thinks I should give him not only the pins and vial, but a business card. eek! No! Then he'd be able to email me... or call! My number's on those cards....*shudder* | |
