hair time lines

inspired by teh prettyful ruth (and the old forum )
i figured we should do timelines again.
i love to look at those.

I dont have pics but i do remember!

-From being born to age 7-Natural Light Brown/amost blond, and growing down to below my butt!

-8 years old- i dyed it red! bright red! (radiant red actually) and cut it up to my shoulders and donated it to locks of luv

-The red grew out within 2 years-

-10 years old- bleached it, and then dyed it orange.

-kept the orange til 6th grade, i cut it all off and had a cut somwhat like Laura's only a tad bit longer. i also had purple glasses, a boyish figure, and man arms. i was mistaken for a boy moreee than once. lol

-summer before 7th grade i died it back to light brown let it stay like that. grew it out to below my shoulders.

-middle of 7th grade i put pink (turned out red) and green (turned out teal) streaks/chunks in my hair.

-let it grow out to natural color

-last summer i bleached it all out. my hair was blondeish again, and i then put teal in it. my hair was teal all over. i took it out within like 4 weeks.

-then my hair was dark brown/almost black and i had bangs

-now my hair is light brown and down to my boobays. =]

That took alot longer than i thought it would. Alright thats the order i *think* it's in. Lol.

I dont have pics but like Becky, I know what I've had.

Younger Years: Blonde Curls
About 5: Went a bit darker and my mum gave me a bowl cut.

Childhood: Went a browny blonde colour naturally. Was long (down way past my shoulders) and very frizzy.

When I was about 11: Got blonde highlights and had it cut like the girl in She's All That. Straightened it out a bit.

Just after the start of high school: I got it dyed red.

Kept that for a few years. Dyed it black. Kept it about shoulder length and quite straight.
Dyed it black with red streaks through it...maybe 2003?

Easter of '04 I cut it all off (like..SHORT!) and had it red again.

Started growing that out right away.

Kept growing...think I dyed it red again...then black...

Summer of 2005 I started letting my black grow out in the process of going blonde!
December of 2005; some bitch butchered my hair! I wanted it sort of bobbed and cute and she gave me a short pixie looking
(but not pixie short) cut which I could barely even tie up.

Feb 2007: I WENT BLOOOONDE!

i don't really change my hair much..ive never had it drastically cut and although it gets dyed quite frequently, its nothing too exciting cause i dont like to bleach my hair cause its so thin naturally

this is my hair naturally, before i ever touched it with dye (about 3 years ago methinks):

and last weekend, dyed medium brown (attempting to get away from the ginger and more towards my natural colour) excuse my drunken confused expression..that can be explained by the rather large teacup of wine on my lap.. :


oh aye, and up until the age of 13 i had like a full bangs (bad idea when your hair is as thin as mine..) so yeh, grew them out. i also had blonde (ish) hair for a day, bright red hair for a few days and pinkish streaks for a while when i was like 12..but no photos of any of these..i tend to hide from cameras..

oooh, my hair is so boring compared to all of yours!

up to about the age of 6, my hair was really blonde and i had ringlets. that started to straighten out, and until about the 5th grade, my hair was long, mostly straight, and i had bangs. In the 5th grade i got my hair cut into a bob, but that didn't last long. I grew out my bangs, and until the summer before my junior year, my hair was long (like halfway down my back) and still my natural dirty-blonde color. then i got it cut super short, and i've basically maintained that up until, oh, April or so. Then Mandy dyed it "Medium Golden Brown" which turned out ginger-y on me.

boring hair timeline!

When I was younger it was dark blonde and down to my knees.
Then my sister decided she wanted her hair cut shorter and my mum liked us having matching hair so I got a bob. A very wonky bob complete with fringe, I also ended up with a neck covered in bruises and scratches because the hairdresser was awful and mean.
By the time I was 7 or 8 it down to my waist with the fringe grown out and had gotten darker naturally so I had highlights but in and the underneath made blue. That lasted about 4 months. Then I replaced the blue with purple.
When I was about 9 or 10 I got rid of all the purple and had it all dyed blonde.
It stayed like that until I was 12ish and had pink streaks all over on accident. It stayed like that for a day and then had it all light brown with a few very subtle red streaks.
At some point I also got rid of the red streaks and made the underneath bright blue again. I also aquired a 'emo' fringe because I didn't like people being able to see my face
When I was about 14 I had it all dyed black/purple. It kept fading to a icky brownish colour. Blegh.
I had that for about 4 months and then dyed my hair black/blue.
I had that for about 5 or 6 months.
Then I decided black was boring and made it brown. Kept it like that for about a month then bleached steaks into it every month.
That made it mostly light brown with random black streaks left over and some blonde bits.
Then in december last year I had the underneath dyed pink.
In March I had it cut to my shoulders and had a full fringe cut back in.
And then in April I think I bleached it all and its now blonde/white.

I think the times/ages are right for all of that
My hairdresser says no more hair dyeing for me now or it will fall out.

Ruth what kind of hair dye did you use to get that brownish red color?

i dont have pics but i can remember

up until about Sept 2005 i had dark brown hair
then i had blonde highlights on top so it was light on top and dark at the bottom
Then i dyed it bright red
Then dyed it dark red
Then back to bright red, with blue underneath
Then red ontop black underneath
then red with dark brown
then brown all over
then browny red
then black
then reallllly dark brown
then dark brown with blonde bits all through it
then honey blonde
then ashy blonde
then ashy blonde with extensions and bright pink on one side
its now ashy blonde with extensions and bright pink, dark brown and purple streaks init. I LOVE IT!
