Heath Ledger died.

"According to the New York Times, the actor was found dead in an apartment building in SoHo, New York City this afternoon. It seems that a masseuse went to the apartment for an appointment with Ledger, and was let in by a housekeeper, who knocked on the door of Ledger's bedroom. He was found unconscious, and the housekeeper and masseuse called the police."

I totally just made the same post.

When I first saw a message about it on another forum I really thought it was gonna be a hoax, what a shock.

My brother just told me this too. I was pure looking forward to seeing him as the Joker in the new Batman film. It'll be so weird watching it now he's dead =( x

Apparently the Mary Kate thing is false, but who knows. The stories on these things tend to change alot before you learn the actual facts

I just found out too, totally cant belive it, what a shame. I hate it when people die, it just takes proper ages to sink in. Like when steve irwin died, me and my friend were just walking around all day going "steve irwin's dead?!?"

It was apparently sleeping pills, anti anxiety meds etc. Not like cocaine or whatever.

A friend told me on msn and I was like "fuck off, thats not funny..." because it just seemed so stupid.

I wasn't a fan of his and I didn't think he was hot or whatever but still, kinda sad.

One of my other friends reactions was "OMG BUT HE FINISHED BATMAN THO RIGHT?!"

And that other guy...Josh from Ghost World died recently too. I dont remember his name.

He started taking sleeping pills while filming The Dark Knight because playing the Joker and having to be up weird hours all the time completely fucked him up. Not surprising, he was right in on the role, really heavy method acting, so...

It's so sad. I thought it was a hoax, as well.

Apparently he was sick with pneumonia or something and was taking perscription meds for that and he's sleeping. Who knows... I just wish they'd stop putting up the footage/pictures of his body being wheeled out of the apartment =(

He was apart of my school days too! The only movie they'd ever play when we had a free period was 10 Things I Hate About You! =( I feel like going out and renting 2 Hands. *Sighs*. I yelled at the T.V "WHAT?!?!" when it came on, and then I tried to demand it tell me again because all I saw was a picture of him, then thinking "oh Heath Ledger, wonder what he's up to these days!" then they talked about his body being removed from the apartment and I was like .... O.O ....

I'm still shocked!

I was out with friends last night when i heard and literally everyone was just like 'wow.....'.
