| Ok, this happens to me a lot, but I always end up being able to fix it just by re-threading my machine. I re-threaded it about 7x now and it's still not working. My machine will make a nice, normal stitch (or so I would think), but when I turn over my fabric it's like.. idk full of loose thread? it just looks like a big knot of thread. I tried adjusting the tension and all that but nothing's working. Help a n00b out! ='( | |

| Ahh that happened to me once. This question comes up a lot on Craftster, and there are a LOT of different options so it could take a while to solve it and I understand your frustration!
In my case, I had to rewind the bobbin! The one at the bottom. How weird is that? | |

| Usually if its doing that its either because the tension is screwed up or the machine is threaded wrong. If the tensions doing nothing, then check out the bobbin. When you pull the thread check out wich way the bobbin is spinning. On industrial sewing machines it has to be spinning one way (clockwise or counter-clockwise) otherwise it will screw up. So just try changing the way its spinning. Hopefully that works, if not maybe I can think of something else, I sew pretty much 5 days a week, 8 hours a day, so I can probably help. | |

| ah I forgot to update this. I re-spun (I have no idea if this is the right term) the bobbin and everything went back to normal. Thanks, Soraya! | |
