| I remember my dad telling me about his sister making her jeans skin tight. Put them on, get into a bath tub of hot water and sit in it for a bit, then get out and let them dry. Repeat until tight enough.
I don't know if this actually works, but that's what my aunt did when she was a teenager.

| Lol yes as above, I have heard that story from my mum too. Apparently it was very common practise! | |

| If you pinch the outer side of it, is it skinny enough?? If it is then you could turn it inside out/rip open the seam with a seam ripper and just sew further in than the old seam. If it's anything that needs the inner thigh to be resized though, then it gets complicated.
Also if you only want the calf to be thinner then thats easily done too, and you CAN do the inner calf. Basically the same as what i said up there ^^ Except you can pin/chalk/whatever while its on so that you have the shape you want.
And last note, if you do end up sewing rather than bath-tubbing, apply the golden DIY rule for clothing.. better to have it slightly too big when you resize and just resize again, than end up with it too small. That's a nightmare!

| Unfortunately, with most jeans, they are "pre-shrunk". So drying them doesn't make them shrink in, they shrink up about an inch (at the hem). | |

| Do they have stretch in them? Because the bath "trick" was used when jeans used to have no stretch at all. I don't think that would work so well on "modern" jeans. Unless of course, no stretch. | |
