| Ok I know I have another post but...I want help/advice. It's about my Ball again. I wanted to get extensions so I could have hair down over my shoulders and some up. It's not til the end of June but I'm getting my colour done on Friday (she's going on holiday and I can always get a root touch up) so that I can go buy extensions and then I can have a run through of the style for my aunts party in the middle of may. Has anyone got any experience with extensions? The ones I'm getting are from Sally's. My hairdresser is going to put them in for the Ball but would they be hard to put in by myself? Also...suggest hair styles that would look hot. I'm kinda thinking loose curls...but I cant find any good ones. Help a girly out Oh and I found shoes - ballet pumps in this like...matt silver...hang on... and I have little silver bows that match. So yeh... | |

| hmmm...seeing your look seems to be sorta princessy i'd go loose pretty curls (but not TOO loose or they'll just come out...like MY formal hair) and have some sorta highish on the back of your head..not too high tho. Hahaha i'm so useless. | |

| Circlets are lovely but tiaras are lame. Have you tried searching photobucket using the keywords formal hair, prom hair, & vintage hair? |

In the 90s everyone had updo's! Or short hair with curls...LOL!

| oh whenever it was they were just like...really old pics. but updos with spikey bits are just nasty. i want summat just quite plain and unfussy. i think because my dress is so princessy and its full length and stuff, just loose will be cute. dyou think the top one i posted (anyone thats good with hair - i cant even get pigtails straight so...) would work with my hair? it just seems curled and then pinned up a bit and i have sidey fringe anyway so... | |

| A good hairdresser can get hair to do anything! The top one should work, and even if it's not exactly the same, a variation of it, anyways. | |

| Wouldn't that get in your eyes? And i didn't mean like crown princess tiara..i meant those little small clips with lyk pearls or something to put at the base...more like clips i guess. But i really like the second one... | |

| I think your hair would look nice with kinda loose curls/waves and half tied back, or pinned back. I have the same dress as you and I also can't decide what to do with my hair haha. It's so difficult trying to find the right balance |

| What about something like Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffanys? I think my hair is about the same length as yours and I love that look... You might have to use some kind of hair-cushion to get that "poofy" look, but your hairdresser will know about that... |

| Woop. Ok I wasn't sure what my hair could do without extensions so I called my hairdresser and she said I could go in and speak to her.
She sat me down and we had a chat and all I did was say that I didn't want it all up, just half of it...and she basically said exactly what I wanted. She suggested I get the extensions (which is cool with me) and stuff so yeh...because we could do it without but it wont like...look different to my normal hair...and ill use them after the ball too so ye know.

| It's gonna be like the Nicole Kidman one, with the top bit back (like my signature pic) and then sort of pinned and then I'll have the long cascading hair over my shoulders and curled... We were talking and it's like...I don't want my hair up, but as my signature shows, I can wear it like that any day and if I curled it, it would be like, realling boingy and short and sort of...stupid looking because it'd be all thick but if I had the extensions then it'd be better and fancy Sarahpuff! You said you'd used the Sally's extensions? Or something similar. They come straight, so if they curled them for my ball, could I straighten them again? | |
