i have the sand and the brown ones and i think they are pretty versitile. my friend has these really cute purple ones. i wish i could pull that kind of thing off, but i think it would be a waste of money because i know i'd never wear them. anyway, i'm kind of digging those patterned ones (you can see them on the website)

ps- because i'm at fashion school, everyone here is so fucking trendy it makes me cry inside. (not that trendy is bad- its just that they're to the point where they're fashion victims. think victoria beckham. but skinnier. and asian.)

I dislike real uggs, they'd just wear out if i had them because i walk everywhere, they aren't chunky enough. though TBH what I want isn't chunky anyway...

yehhh.

i wore mine today and altho they are ridiculously comfy i was walking home and i have a thing with my feet which translates into sore knees and my knees were killing me because i had like no support in my feet. no for long walks with 2 large bags.

I WANT A DENIM MINI SKIRT! I cant find one anywhere but i wanna wear skirts sometimes and think it would be cute with lots of different tights and stuff.
topshop have one but it was like nearly £30 which is a bit much. i tried new look but theirs was like not real thick denim, i tried miss selfridge, zara, h&m, primark and UO. anyone in the uk know where i can get one?!

If you (those in Edinburgh) have a Target (not sure, so sorry if you don't) they have great denim minis. I have one that I wear all the time! Perfect length and color and whatnot.

Mine's made from a pair of jeans, it's pretty easy you could research that (you kind of unpick the seams and sew an extra bit in the back...). But otherwise i can't say I'm sure, I suppose just keep trying high street shops! It's awakard because barely anywhere sells good baasics like that huh?


And yeahh i should but alot of my clothes are like boardies and cute vests and flip flops (heck it's the cornish uniform) and i can't wear that in the winter!

yeh i cant be arsed tho. and i have no old jeans i could make into a pair.

i might go tomorrow and try on the one in topshop. i suppose like £25 isnt toooooooo bad.

and yeh ok so you maybe couldnt wear flip flops but layer vests and stuff over tshirts. thats what i do. i have cute vest tops and floaty strappy things i never wore much in the summer but ive been wearing them now over other tops. or i dont like strappy tops much and bought them specifically to wear over other tops

Ha ha that's actually quite a good idea! I'm really well stocked up on basics and plain things now.

If you don't like it (though it is topshop, i bet it'll be lush!) you could always scour charity shops. I love charity shops, like, alot of the stuff is skanky but often you find like, the one pair of prada shoes int he shop right ta the back that are super lush... ha ha.

and I'm going shopping tomorrow so I'll look out in the chain stores and tell you if i see any ones that might suit!
