| A month or so ago I went into Charlotte Russe and found a gorgeous pair of BRIGHT PINK patent pointed-toe heels! Of course, they called my name and I just had to have them, and so that's how it was.
However, once I tried to wear them for the first time, they kept slipping off my heels when I walked. Now, the shoe itself fits fine, but around my heels they're a little big.
Is there anything I can do to make them wearable? Thanks ladies.

| add a bit of stuffing to the shoes so they fit? maybe see if you can get them fitted, even? | |

| Hmm, stuffing might work. It just might look weird if some of it popped out in midstep. I'll have to try it. | |

For some reason that made me think of Cinderella, and how the step mother cut off her one daughter's toes and the other daughter's heel to make the slipper fit.. and the prince realized the shoe was filled with blood and brought them back to try the next daughter. Now I want to go find my book and see if that's actually part of it, or just something they threw into Into the Woods...

| Yeah, it's a bit far. No one cut off parts of their feet to make shoes fit! I'd be sad. | |

| But its actually true... in the german version cinderellas pidgeons even have a little rhyme about the blood in the shoe... All the Grimms fairytales are veeery creepy in my opinion... What I always wonderd though is, if the shoe was made of glass... why didnt the prince see the blood in the first place?? :-D |

| =O I HAD NO IDEA THAT THAT HAPPENED IN CINDERELLA! I thought it just didn't fit and that was the end!
Are all the other fairytales originally more gruesome too? |

| IDK how they are in english, but they are quite gruesome, yes... I believe in the end of Cinderella the bad stepsisters are forced to dance and dance until they drop dead....
Edit: Kiki, all the ones I know are in German... this one for example has the original fairytales. This should be quite good, as an english version...

| In the Little Mermaid, she could stand and walk but for her it always felt like she was walking on knives and sharp glass. Wouldn't that be horrid? Even the most comfortable shoes would have killed. I'd be sad. | |

| I'll get extensions and when you come cut them out I'll lend you my copies of the books. They really are quite gruesome, you can sit there and read them knowing the Disney version and you'll be shocked. It's quite fun. | |
