| Hello!
I've just ordered this pattern http://www.butterick.com/item/B4485.htm?search=trenchcoat%20with%20epiletes&page=2
for my formal dress next year!
The only problem is, I have no idea what colour/s to make it in. Please don't suggest green >.<
ummm if you wana photo of me I'm sure i could find for you!
EDIIIIT:
I was thinking perhaps a combination of these colours? http://www.cinemacomrapadura.com.br/filmes/imgs/marie_antoinette_2006_img_2.jpg (lady on the left, main fabric of her dress)

| wow..thats gonna take a hell of alot of material and time.. what time of year is it? cause i normally always wear dark colours, but my prom was in the summer so i decided light would be nicer, so i looked all summery (as it happened it poured with rain that day..) which is why i chose mint green and cream..also, few people wore green and i wanted to be different. | |

| You could go with blue...
A pale pastely blue or a dark rich one.

id say maybe a red colour...or a blue...not too dark but not too pale either.

| cream and black would look nice. Also, stripes can be really striking on a dress like that. Like the dress Christina Ricci wore in Sleepy Hollow |

| I reckon something like this colour... maybe even a little darker? Like, a little shimmery but with sorta black undertones? I reckon that would look so good. And this one is a purty colour too: In fact I like that whole dress. Ooooh. I love that! |

| I really like that fabric in the Marie Antoinette pic you posted, but I really think a darker fabric would be better. Especially seeing as you're so pale. |
